In 1965, Mattel released a dress called "Barbie Learns to Cook," but instead of the blue gingham dress and apron Barbie wore on the cover of the Easy as Pie Cookbook, Mattel opted for a pretty, colorful "Barbie" print shirtdress which featured flowers and the word "Barbie" in a repeat pattern.
