I admit it. I'm a foodie. I have a cookbook collection that exceeds 1200 volumes, and still growing. I read cookbooks like others read novels.
And 5 PM sees me searching the net to find that perfect recipe for tonight's dinner.

- I'm a great fan of Nigella Lawson, her TV series "Nigella Bites" and her cookbooks and New York Times food columns. Now she has an online recipe search. What's fun about Nigella is she's not a chef...she's a foodie. Great fun.

At last count, I had over 1000 cookbooks. I find cookbooks are inspiration for creating my own recipes, and I love the older ones for what they say about the way we lived back when.
