Free College Money
Yes, there is FREE (or almost free) money for college!
Yes, there is free college money. All states offer some sort of grant for college students. You do have to qualify, but you do not have to pay it back. This is like free money. Your high school counselor will know all about what grants you may qualify for.Most colleges and universities have scholarships and other discounts for continuing students. If you are admitted and maintain a good GPA, all schools will try and work with your finances to be able to stay in college. Once you are admitted, contact the financial aid office. They will give you all the help they can.
The New GI Bill is for recent veterans. This is a government program specifically for veterans of the recent Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Your veterans office will now more about this program. Military recruiters will have more information as well.
You or your parents may work with a company that provides tuition reimbursement to employees or dependents. Even scholarships. Again, this is money that goes directly into your pocket and does not need to be paid back. Contact the human resources department of the company.
Did you know there is a lot of income tax deductions for college expenses? These total thousands of dollars and you do not have to itemized deductions. This again puts free money in your pocket just for the asking.

In addition to the free college money above, there are other ways of getting college cash.Scholarships: Ask your high school counselor what local and country wide scholarships you may be eligible for. You can also do an internet search for them. Don't pay for a search.
Student Loans: All students can get federal student loans. You get this loan through the financial aid office of your college. There are parent loans available as well.
Get a job: Many students find good part time jobs while going to school. Many businesses like restaurants allow you a flexible schedule and are ideal for college students.

- Great info, thanks! I am a recent college grad, and even though I have a job the economy is still taking a toll on my finances. I also am still taking college courses to continue my education and gaining knowledge, so this info will come in handy
