Who hasn't been a broke college student at some time or another? ; )
  • OnlineAutoInsuranceQuotes Nov 10, 2011 @ 7:26 pm | delete
Call your insurance agent and see if you are getting all the discounts you deserve. Also do get an online auto insurance quote just to make sure you're getting the most coverage for the least possible price.

Absolutely true. I do not have the difficulty of having no money very often because I manage my money well, but I am willing to bet that this article speaks directly to plenty of people. I wrote on a similar topic and will link this lens to it. Thank you for the great work.

Several helpful, legitimate ways to earn money during college. You didn't include writing on Squidoo. I might cut down on the length of the College Cash Blog posts and just include highlights instead of everything available.

This is great info for college students! Most students do find money a bit tight during their college years and any extra resources are great.
  • pheonix76 Mar 27, 2011 @ 5:24 pm | delete
Nice lens. I am starting grad school in the fall and definitely need some ways to make extra money. When I was an undergrad I tutored and was a chemistry TA, and made a decent amount of money doing both. Thanks for the info!

Very comprehensive resource lens for college students and parents. One source of earning additional money besides those listed is Promotional modeling. The pay is very competitive and the hours are flexible which will allow students to continue their studies uninterupted. Thanks for stopping by and liking one of my lens.

I can chip in with a little money-making advice. I myself am a college student and I've been earning some pocket cash through taking paid surveys online. My favorite panel is Opinion Outpost. I even wrote my own Opinion Outpost review lens. Feel free to check it out and leave some feedback! Thanks!

Great lens. Another great way to save money (and make money if you are interested in making referrals) is to sign up for an account at www.myfrugalfriend.com You can get cash back rebates when you shop online, and you can get bonus cash for referring others to this site. It's free and easy to use, and many of the users make a decent monthly income.

This is excellent, I will be lensrolling this to many of mine. Much I didn't know (re: don't apply to college too early and others). Thank you for sharing so generously. Rose

Being broke sucks! While you are in school u can make a lil extra money on the side participating in paid focus groups or medical research. Def helps with the bills.
http://www.easymoney4students.com has focus groups u can join in your city or online

This is a good lens. I think you should expand on the "Tuition Free College" link by using a separate module.

Good lens. Useful for students. I give credit for the originality! Advise them to put up a few lenses on their subjects.

Just don't send away for any of those "make money from home stuffing envelopes" kits. I fell for that one. :P
