If you could think back to the time when you were a college student, you probably remember being pretty broke a lot of the time. For many, it seemed that back then there was a constant struggle to make ends meet what with all the school bills, the books, and the classroom materials to pay for. If you lived on campus, you would have to figure in accommodations, your food everyday and various other living expenses. Living at home wouldn't have made things much easier even if it were possible, since you would have had to deal with gas or commuting expenses.

For most college students, the only way to deal with all these expenditures would be to take on a college job. There are actually countless ways by which a college student could make money while still in school, and painting jobs have proven to be quite lucrative and popular ones. Unfortunately, there have been a few instances of painting jobs gone awry, which has given rise to the impression that college work painting scams proliferated throughout the campuses all over the country.

But are there really such things as college work painting scams?

The fact of the matter is that college painting jobs is just like any other industry, which means that for every dozen students that are willing to put in a hard day's work and do a good job at it, there are one or two less than reputable people who spoil things for everyone. These bad apples have unfortunately made many people believe that college work painting scams are more common than they actually are.

While we don't mean to tell you that every single college painter that you run into will do a great job, you have to realize that the vast majority of them are simply students who are looking to make a few bucks to tide them over during the financially difficult college years. They are just trying to make a living just like anyone else, and should actually be commended for trying to make an honest living instead of resorting to illegitimate methods.

Of course you do have to make sure that the college students that you hire are actually enrolled in the college and come with references. This will greatly reduce the risk of you falling prey to college work painting scams.
