The three-day conference at the World Health Organization in Geneva opened with alarming statistics: The lethal strain of avian influenza is now in 15 countries; it has been discovered in five since July; 150 million birds have died or been culled; 124 people have been infected, and 63 of them died, and poultry losses have topped more than $10 billion. The fear is that the virus, H5N1, could mutate into a form that could spread easily from person to person.

"It is only a matter of time before an avian flu virus, most likely H5N1, acquires the ability to be transmitted from human to human, sparking the outbreak of a human pandemic influenza," said Lee Jong-Wook, director general of World Health Organization.

2012Silver Biotics update: It's been a while since I created this lens. Since then both my daughters did get the Swine Flu from school (several months apart) that 1st year there was so much fuss going on about it. Both of them started taking Silver Biotics as soon as they started feeling bad. I took them to the Dr. to find out what they had like a good mom should. One daughter took Tamiflu along with the Silver Biotics & the other refused the Tamiflu & only took the Silver Biotics. The daughter who took the Tamiflu ended up feeling worse than the one that didn't (one of the side effect of Tamiflu is flu like systems - go figure). The only symptom my other daughter had was a headache that she couldn't get rid of for 2 days. Both were over the flu completely in 2 & 3 days (the one who took the Tamiflu took 3 days).

You may have read in forums about people using colliodal silver water to cure MRSA, & I can attest that it DOES. Most people however said that it always came back within a few months, so they didn't think it worked. According to our Dr. it can come back for up to a year. I found all this out when one of my daughters got what we thought was a spider bite last year. We later learner (after I treated it with Silver Biotics & got rid of it) that it was Staph. It wasn't until it came back about 6 weeks later that we found out it wasn't just Staph, but MRSA.
