Travel wise, Colombia is one of the few countries in Latin America that truly has almost everything. Right from amazing beaches, wildlife viewing tours, rainforests, whale watching trips archaeological remains and sites to colonial towns, nightlife, fantastic trekking, rafting and scuba diving. You have so much to do that you might consider extending your tour.

Suggested places to make a visit are:
Colonial Cartagena with its beautiful colonial old town; Beach at Park Tayrona; Ruins of Ciudad Perdida; San Andres Island; Taganga, famous as a fisher's village; Parque Tayrona National park; Parque Tayrona, here you can spend a week in a hammock at the beach; and
Minca.

Try learning some Salsa dancing in Cali. This place is known for its salsa music and incredible parties.

If you are the adventurous one go trekking at Villa de Leyva or plan a stay in a jungle lodge in the deep Amazon rainforest.

There are some great carnivals in the months of January and February. The Barranquilla carnival is the most famous here.

Eating here would be a different experience all together, though the eating same food gets a bit boring sometimes. At the coast you can eat a lot of fried fish with arroz de coco. There are so many exotic fruits that you would have never heard off.
