Colon Cleansing Diets - Work to Make You Healthier
There are certain foods that you can consume that will increase the elimination of toxins and waste from the body, and at the same time cleanse the colon, detoxify major organs, clear toxins and enhance circulation.
A colon cleansing diet is recommended by some holistic practitioners to promote the elimination of unwanted chemicals, and environmental and dietary toxins from the body for the best possible health.

Fruit - Fresh or Frozen Fruit
Vegetables - All fresh vegetables. Vegetables thought to be particularly cleansing include broccoli, cauliflower, broccoli sprouts, onions, garlic, artichokes, beets, red and green vegetables.
Rice - All varieties of rice, including rice crackers, rice pasta, and rice cake. Brown rice is often best.
Other Grains - Buckwheat, quinoa, amaranth, or millet, can be used instead of rice.
Beans - any varieties of peas and lentils are good for cleaning toxins.
Nuts and Seeds - use unsalted nuts and seeds, examples include cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, and pumpkin seeds.
Oil - Extra-virgin olive oil would be the best choice.
Condiments - Sea salt, vinegar, vegetable salt, or tamari, all herbs or spices.
Tea - Herbal and green teas are great choices for their cleansing properties.
Other Beverages - water, water with lemon or lime, fruit and vegetable juices with no added sugar, and rice milk
* Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day, warm or room temperature.
