Buttons added a touch of color to my shirt
The buttons on this shirt were all black. I wanted some color, so I added a touch of color to the inside neck line by sewing in a string tie from a pair of pajamas I had. Then I replaced the black buttons with colorful buttons. "Ahhh, that's much better," I thought.

Buttons on my bathroom curtain
I wanted a window curtain to match my shower curtain. The style of shower curtain was no longer available to purchase and make a window curtain from. So I used a patterned white fabric and made a close match with the shower curtain by using a variety of buttons in different colors. Voila. Coordinated with buttons.

- I have loved buttons since I first started to sew (I was about 7). My collection is fairly large, but I recently downsized it a bit by gifting my younger daughter with a huge jar for her birthday - she's a button crafter and adores buttons. 5* for a lots of fun lens.
