My First Lens

I am finally plunging into squidville!

Would you believe that I had signed up for an account a few months back and never became "active" with it until now. It's not from fear or lack of motivation. Things just kept getting in the way. No more obstacles! I will create lenses. Even if I have to do it out in the desert.

Ok that sounds a little loony. But you know what I mean.

Not Necessarily New

I would not call myself new to Squidoo. I am [or was or maybe still, I really don't know at the present] a SquidTo, short for Squidoo Tourist. I've been hearing a lot lately about how making lenses to promote your blujay store brings in good traffic and sales. I'm a little skeptical about it, as I believe that the right buyer has to come along.

Keeping it to a 1

I'm tempted to call myself a SquidApostle. I'm getting ahead of myself here. My mind runs 90 miles an hour sometimes and my fingers can't keep up the pace.



Let's see here.... my first lens... keeping to a "first" theme... I don't know if this would be called a first...but a few months back, I had gotten a hold of 2 squid domains. The one I plan to set up a blog on for a shameless plug announcement of when I create or modify my lenses. The other I will use to put up squidoodles I create from photoshop or other image programs I have on my computer. Since the second domain is a .cc, I would like to think of it as a "creative collection". Or maybe "colorful collection".


Did you know that the .cc domain suffix is a top-level domain (TLD) for the Cocos Islands.

After I wrote my lens entitled Squidoo for fun and non-profit, I decided that I had so much fun creating some of the Squidoodles and other graphics, that I would start a collection of them.

I think I'll wrap it up

I won't be creating a "lensography" anytime in the near future. I rather give a eulogy than talk about myself.
