Striving for creativity
I always like to strive for creativity in life. I like to think of this lens as some sort of an alternative to a lensography.

A biography is too much stress. I can't have toxicity in my life. If I want to be poisoned, I'll just turn on the TV.

Speaking of boxes...
I like to think outside the box. Here are my goals for using Squidoo:
* Make at least 1 lens a week. Not that I'm not motivated. If I had time on my hands, I probably could make 2 lenses a day. I would have over 50 lenses a month at that rate. That's enough to be a squid giant.

* Speaking of giants, I hope to be a squid giant in 6 months time. I might be a giant before then, but I'm trying to be a little realistic at the moment.
* I would like to make it on LOTD [Lens of the Day] once in my life. That may never happen, but I like to be hopeful. It would be my [un]fortunate luck that one of my more *stupider*/boring lenses end up on LOTD.
Sometimes I think was born with bad luck. Do you know that my real name has 13 letters total.
* I would like to make lenses for all of my ornaments I photographed somehow. I don't know why I am finding myself slipping back into the world of Barbie. Reality sucks sometimes.

* I am thinking of making some lenses to promote my sites. I don't know if I will make them for all of my sites though. Heck I don't even have some of my sites up yet! Lots of work and only one person doing all the work.
If you want the job done right, better do it yourself, or however the
old saying goes.
* I would like to make some book lenses and lyric lenses. I will have to do some research first before making those types of lenses. No sense in seeing 10 lenses on the same thing. Even though a different take on the topic is nice, there is such a thing as beating a dead horse.
* I want to mix modules on all of my lenses. I would like to use ALL the modules at least once. That will be a little challenging because there are a couple of modules that I don't like. The module I favor the most is rss.
Jewelry and other Oddities
Buy one of these items won't you? The Colorful Squid would be very happy and grateful if you did.
Fetching RSS feed... please stand bySpeaking of mixing...
* I like to push the envelop. Would mixing modules with news feeds and a few written blurbs and photos or graphics... would it be considered "junk" or a lens? I think it depends on the content.
* Since I'm on the subject of content, it's to my understanding that Squidoo allows "adult" content. I know Squidoo does not pay royalty for those type of lenses. Those who put together "adult" content wouldn't need the extra royalty if they knew how to utilize the traffic right.

* I would like to make at least $500 in royalty a month from Squidoo. I know that sounds like a tall order. I wonder how many lenses will it take to make that. Will it take a million, like Lensmaster Skills believes?
* I'm kind of surprised by the lack of groups created in Squidoo. Not sure if I want to create groups of my own. I have ideas, but I don't think it's possible at this time to have two group owners [or a owner and a moderator]. I think Squidoo needs to add that option. [Note added 10/16/08-- A couple of people have told me that it's possible to appoint a moderator for any squidoo group created.]
* Being a Squid Angel would be nice. I'm getting ahead of myself here. One step at a time. I can't even do that sometimes. I wouldn't mind being part of the Squidoo police.

I've seen some real crappy lenses on Squidoo. Better pray that I don't find you. Because if I do, I will go slap happy on the report button, give you a low rating on your lens, leave a nasty comment on your lens and maybe even publicly humiliate you on my blog if I'm in one of my shitty moods. Not necessarily all 4 steps, much less even in that order.
I would like to revisit my goals after 6 months to see how I have fared. Someone may need to remind me. Date this lens was published: 10/15/2008.

What do you think? Let me know..
