Favorite Coloring Books for Boys - Boys Printable Coloring Pages
The boys in our family often request special coloring pages - pictures of action figures, trucks, bulldozers, super heroes, sports and race cars coloring pages. It seems that coloring pages with dragons, airplanes, trains and military pictures appeal more to the boys than the girls. The boys more frequently request coloring pages of bugs and monsters to color more often than the girls.
In deference to these duly noted boys coloring preferences, I respectfully offer you this lens of coloring books that boys in my family prefer. I must say that I think all children will enjoy coloring the printables and books I've found for this boys coloring book lens. Just don't tell the guys our secret - lots of girls (even grandmas who draw coloring pages) love coloring boys theme coloring pages!

Both girls and boys will enjoy the suggested boys coloring books in this lens. As a kid I had no problem with coloring pictures my brothers liked. I drew plenty of monsters, fantasy aircraft and animal pictures. Today I create all types of coloring pages that appeal fo children and adults. That said, the coloring books and sheets topics in this lens are definitely favorites of my grandson and nephews. But how do you feel about it?

I really don't think they mind, of course if given choice my son will prefer dinosaurs over butterfly, but overall as long as it's fun he don't care.

Don't be daft. Its bad enough the clothes shops and toy shops have their contents divided into pink and blue areas. Coloring books? Gimme a break!

When they are younger, I can see that it doesn't matter too much, but let them get a gander at the images you've made here, and I think they'll develop a preference for boy-type images. :)

I have 3 boys and none of them really liked to color so I imagine they would need a real "boy" picture to get them to do so.

Tell Me Your Colorful Thoughts About Boys Coloring Crafts
Do you agree boys have different preferences for coloring book topics?
My own experience says girls and boys have different tastes and preferences when it comes to coloring books and crafts. Marketing seems to cater to this observation, but I know I enjoy drawing pictures of all types, and adults of both sexes search out my coloring pages. What are your thoughts or experiences with kids and coloring book preferences?

- If they are given choices, yes boy will prefer some coloring pages over the other, but I don't see my son refuse to color because I draw him a flower. Blessed by an angel in search of the best of all ''C'' pages

- Yeah, it does seem to vary, but I think a big part of that is culture and peer pressure as opposed to inborn inclination.
Just wanted to say that I bought the Amazing Aircraft book--and still have it! I kept it for all these years because of the cool concepts and detailed illustrations. I could never bring myself to color it, even as a kid.

- Well, my experience is that it doesn't matter. But, my experience is also that boys don't seem to want to color as much. Maybe that's because they aren't getting the right pictures to color. :)
