Comic Con International is an amazing convention, I hope I get to go again! :)

Thor! He is my favorite since I am a kid! One day I will dress my son as Thor for Halloween, he is blond too so I think he will make a super nice Thor:)

Awesome Nathalie, Thanks so much for dropping by my comic com inspired costumes. :-) Hope your son enjoys being Thor. :-) Thanks, Deb

Batman has always been a favourite, but whether I'd get away with dressing as him now is debatable ;)
  • Guide_To_Squidoo Oct 17, 2011 @ 2:09 am | delete
I'm a wonder woman fan, and NO LOL I will not be dressing as her this year. Perhaps 15 years ago I could have pulled it off.

This year I'll be a Giant Squid (wearing my Squidoo T shirt) ;-)

Thank you! Did you go to Dragon Con last weekend? I didn't make it but I saw some awesome pictures the other day. Looks like a great event as well.

Hee. I went down around the convention center for the Distant Worlds concert that was happening on the water-- it was all the music of Final Fantasy performed by the San Diego orchestra -- and a lot of folks came out from ComicCon to attend the concert, so I saw some great cosplayers.

Back in the eighties I was driving past a car lot with a fair for marketing; hot dogs, ponies, superheroes. One of my kids, and my, oft recalled memories is of Spider man jumping up and down along the sidewalk, and landing in the middle of a pony pie. His body language revealed what must have been his facial contortions under the mask. As we drove away, he stood there dejectedly, arms spread in disgust, shaking one foot in the air.

Awesome, 5 star lens! I'll have to live vicariously through it, as I won't be able to afford to go across country to this comic con. Hopefully in the future, though! It looks like so much fun. :D

This is great fun! I love the mixture of posters and costume ideas. That Wonder Woman tin sign rocks!! Thanks for featuring my Twilight Party lens. The cast and author of Twilight attended Comic Con 2008 and it inspired my Twilight Vampire Costume lens. Nicely done! 5*

Great lens! I think I want to be Underdog this year, my superhero! Thanks for featuring my lens. Woofs, Johann

I'll be adding more comic personalities and sharing more about them in the next few days.
