Caribou Coffee
Caribou Coffee has topped the charts as a leader in the coffee aisle. They were started in 1990 but quickly grew a devoted following.
Could it be their happy blue logo with the leaping caribou that draws drinkers in?
No matter what caused the public to fall in love with the company's coffee, it has remained a hugely popular brand with American coffee drinkers.

Dunkin' Donuts
Dunkin' Donuts was founded in 1950 on the East Coast in Massachusetts. It's become one of the biggest coffee houses and has a devoted and loyal following whose coffee scoops won't touch anything else. They're touted as the coffee that "America runs on." And it's easy to see why.
Their coffee has a taste all its own and the brand has created an image of a working person's coffee company who understands why they need their coffee fast and delicious.

Starbucks
Starbucks is a legend in the coffee world! They've created a culture where coffee drinkers are happy to pay $4 and up for a cup of coffee with a cool sounding name. Their coffee houses are warm and inviting, and they do a brisk business from open until close every day at every location.
Those who take their daily Starbucks coffee break will tell you that there is no other brand for them. With over 16,000 stores worldwide, they are by far the largest coffee retailer. They've been roasting up the bitter bean and making it taste great since 1971.

Peet's Coffee
Peet's Coffee is another retailer that has become a hit with coffee drinkers.Originally founded by Alfred Peet, a Dutchman, the California company has its own band of cult followers. They have kept their eye on producing great tasting coffee rather than beautifying their coffee shops.
That's why those who love Peets won't switch to any other.

My Favorite Coffee Maker
I've never been very good at making coffee. It's either too strong or not strong enough.
I started hearing a lot of buzz about the Keurig Coffee Maker. It uses single use cups (called K-cups) to brew the perfect cup of coffee. Not only can you make coffee, but you can also make tea, apple cider and hot chocolate. I've had my Keurig for a couple months and have really enjoyed it. Every cup turns out perfectly and there is a huge variety of K-cups available from all your favorite brands.

Other Top Brands
There are many more coffee brands you can select from the grocery store.Folgers and Nescafe lead the grocery store pack. But somehow the coffee shop brands don't seem to be in the same category with those who buy coffee for home brewing.
To coffee drinkers, they're almost two different ideas. Those who love Starbucks coffee, for instance, will go to the coffee house and have a drink made for them. But when they make coffee at home, if they do, they might use a store bought brand.

Order your favorite or try something new!
I heart Coffee
Coffee drinkers are a picky lot. They know what they like and they aren't afraid to demand it. They'll gladly pay for it, too - including the personalized mug they drink it from! With prices escalating on everything from gas to food, it's a wonder that a $4 cup of coffee is still a key player in the marketplace. There are some things people just won't compromise on, and coffee is one of them.
Next time you're in the supermarket, notice how many different brands of coffee there are. You'll be amazed and just might want to try something new next time.
And don't forget, if you're getting together soon with your coffee-loving friends, you can find a great selection of personalized coffee favors online!
