Compassion

by Barbara Tremblay Cipak, Copyright

To the one who hurt us
do we hurt back
or do we show mercy
To the one who lied to us
do we lie back
or do we lead with honor
To the one who cheated us
do we cheat back
or do we forgive
To the one who hates us
do we hate back
or do we live only with love
To the one who stole from us
do we steal back
or do we give clemency
To the one who is jealous of us
do we bathe in it
or do we uplift them
To the one who makes a mistake
do we judge them
or do we remember our own mistakes
To the one who is weak
do we walk by
or do we help them
To the one who cannot love
do we pity them
or do we show compassion
To live in a wonderful world
do we remember
we must first master ourselves

A Riddle- What Are They?

Can You Solve This One?

Can you Figure this one out?
HINT: The Answer is in the Poem

We can make them without trying
We own it without buying
We accumulate thousands in a lifetime
They don't cost a dime
Yours are Yours
And Mine are Mine

A Compassionate World in Song

Louis Armstrong - What A Wonderful World

I made this video, when I was sad. It is not extraordinary, but maybe it makes you happy...maybe.

Your writing comforts the soul. I love your video too. Can I use it on one of my pages? Your lens is way better than 5 stars. Hope you will see how I try to help others others too via The Eby Way. Sincerely: Gary Eby, author and therapist.

Here is a great quiz tribute to Greg Mortenson, a truly copassionate being. He's a lesson to all of us.

Credit Where Credit is Due

Everyone should get their "Kudoos".

Eventhough, in some cases, it isn't necessary to indicate where a photo, or a piece of art, was acquired, because it's "free stock", I still like to credit the artist.

As a Poet and Lyricist, I feel that's the least I can do.

So below are links from Art or other items on this page that don't have a link directly beside it.

Note: Some Photos in various webpages of mine, I have purchased the right to use.

The photo of the two hands above is a photo I paid to use from Stockxpert.com. As a courtesy to the artist, I have provided a link to them directly at Stockxpert.com.
