In studies assessing Bti.'s acute toxicity to mammals, mortality only occurred when Bti. was injected into the abdomen or the brain. Bti. is irritating to both eyes and skin. When the delta-endotoxin from Bti. was injected intravenously into mice, they exhibited rapid paralysis, followed by death within 12 hours. When the same dosage was injected under the skin of suckling mice, death occurred in 2-3 hours. The delta-endotoxin also caused destruction of rat, mouse, sheep, horse, and human red blood cells.19 When a small protein isolated from the endotoxin was administered to mice at sublethal levels, mice suffered from severe hypothermia and their heart beat slowed.20"

EASTERN STANDARD: 11:08 PM
* Aircraft exhibits enhanced ability , stealth, slow capabilities, appear to behave in a fixed wing manner.
Aft large round dual "Jet like" engines
*EX QUITE & GLOWING ORANGE. Located however in an unusual fashion, almost as though bi product,in that illumination used to make its way as well as propulsion if that can make any logical sense.
ARGUMENT: A jet engine is not also used as a navigational beacon, and a jet engine is not employed in such a manner.
Its operation appeared as a low altitude stealth reconnaissance with unusual characteristics.

***?: What Jet Can Fly Like That, whisper Quiet, POSS 40-45 MPH
**** Into and through the Island.
***** Navigating tree stands by orange glowing illumination (Similar to appearance aft of a jet fighter) however, behaving in unique fashion as noted above.

PATH: Approached varied low alt and irregular from normal area NW but extended into the island and does a quiet survey? Veers Over Periwinkle SE gradual to E , Mixed slow speed , Mixed low altitude *Observed a somewhat graceful "Bop" like\ over trees maneuver?
(No I am only drinking lemonade : )E heading circles toward Northerly heading return, vanishes.

This is just the sort of thing people do not like in their flight log, but realize it should be noted.
DUTY: *What if that was not a US aircraft?
Able to fly like that, could be from anywhere and hard to detect her entry in any way.

Entered as a Duty: Against my intent for this log, also not related in full, or expected.

LCMD helicopters delivering the mosquito breakfast.
Noted Altitude \ UP = Good
White helicopter observed treating leeward side of island roughly to Sanibel blvd. for exit of area.

*Not observed closely this am as I was exhausted when they arrived today.
Appeared flying skills and manners were improved on brief observation, treated and departed without the normal havoc.
Ambient noise, indicated departure high above home.
*Not fully awake or watching.

Cornflakes again...What, no coffee or dough nuts with breakfast today Shelly?

No Air Traffic today from Lee County mosquito control observed.
Their nemesis (beside myself) the MOSQUITO, has been very easy going today also.
Half hour blood donation out in the lawn produced only 5 minor salt marsh bites that are gone in a half hour.
We consider this a low easy going rate of mosquito blood tax here, unrealistic or unfair to expect better than that!

ENTRY: 9:11 PM Observed aircraft approach and enter low above Sanibel, approach appears from Fort Myers beach area to light house , inward above island at low altitude, seemed to veer North roughly near causeway, and vanishes from line of sight not to reappear , waited 18 min. to see further.
No visual acquired.
No picture. No audio.

ENTRY: 11:37 AM
Observed Fixed Wing Prop Aircraft Making its way East to West hugging the leeward island coast over Ding Darling.

CONDITIONS:Winds calm,visibility good,Temp 88 degrees.

ENTRY: 1:15 PM Lee County Mosquito Control helicopter, comes up just above the Over Easy breakfast bar, and respectfully stops to say hello.

*** Thankfully, does not treat us, and departs without flying over us.
*** I am truly very impressed and knew they were capable of respecting our home.
THANK YOU, very much for the respect.

ENTRY: 1:27 PM Observed Red LCMD helicopter, Over above the Taxi cab company.

NOTE: Perhaps they have been getting bite complaints there.
HOWEVER, I noted on foot, these have not been mosquitoes for the most part, over near the Timbers where they allow a pond after each rain to form.
There has been another culprit,(NON MOSQUITO) A larger biting insect that might have been generating complaints and probably is less affected by the recent treatments to that area. Unknown?

I might recommend the area businesses such as the Timbers, that do have pond and landscape issues to employ a simple "Dunk," into there respective and obvious ponds, as this would probably be their source and a less expensive way to address that very localized problem.
***On foot it has been noted only to the areas from about the 7 11 Gas station to about the Fire department and CVS drugs.
Appears to be very localized and NON MOSQUITO biting fly.
We walked it ourselves on a bite test. Negligible for mosquito oddly. I suspect the few remaining tourists may have complained at one of these businesses, such as the Timbers or Tower Art Gallery?

OBSERVATIONS: LCMD's red Helicopter circles around the rear of our home (Leeward side of island), skims in at low altitudes hugging our property
prior to area departure.

Altitude: Unacceptable
Airspace: Proximity Violation
Conclusion: Non Compliances

We have a direct overhead Am wake up flight by Lee
County.. not respecting the many repeated "Opt Out" program requests and demands.
THE NO OPT OUT,stance apparent at the Lee county Mosquito Control District, is appalling and demonstrative of its rampant incompetence
and irresponsible deployments of biotoxins and chemicals to us and surrounding areas.
In our coastal residential areas and fringes especially.

Such leadership(?,) from the super funded "Lee County Mosquito Control District,"
"All Eyes Are On," what can only be described as the Most Expensive Program of its Kind.

It looks like this needs to become a top NEWS
item and exposé.

Hap hazard flight pattern and altitudes.
Complaints overheard today in 2 languages this AM, the English was scratchy throat, also skin itches.
Air Control has run "A muck," here again!

LCMD, Reappears from the East, to resume area assaults, on this once tranquil island paradise called Sanibel.
Vacationers, should seek immediate safe indoor refuge during treatments.
*Wait for rain, or dissipation before heading back out of your home or Sanibel island resort.

BT is suspected to have been mixed with Organophosphates of any kind

This is how we suggest you clean after near treatments of ANY and ALL pesticides, and also
You might care to BE WARY OF : those of mosquito control programs n your areas.
Remember by whatever spray trade labels their "Product" is being labeled as...or perhaps even fully disclosed on some labels.
Perhaps it might simply be best to take the extra mop to things right after such occourances, and be safe, also..we all know children or pets and Service animals do walk, roll, play, and eat from the floors..don't they?

Take no chances and clean up!

SOAP and WATER then rinse well...Lysol and rinse again if you are still uncomfortable in the area you are working to keep safe and clean.

***So, until you can find some sort of "Traffic Widget" for "Air Control" over your prospective new residence:

DON'T BUY REAL ESTATE ON SANIBEL, until LCMD and their biochemical mosquito treatments have been fully banned is my sound advice.

And if you are already here under attack from the "Redovan Express," then sorry.

YOUR, only means of "Air Control" is clearly marked as "AC" on your wall...so use that Air Conditioner, and RUN to CLOSE ALL YOUR WINDOWS.
Leave all SHOES AT THE DOOR, and wash the porch when the Mosquito control helicopters leave.

*****Especially if you have pets. (Ones you love.)

Now, only if I had some sort of a "Traffic Widget," that could clean my porch...?, much like cookies from my browser.

LCMD Flying directly low overhead rudely waking us just over the rooftops with their toxic shock wake up.
This is totally unacceptable, ignorance of our opt out requests.
I expect they will return in droves of toxin riddling madness as the insane helicopter pilots they have proven to be.

Maybe Sanibel will wake up when one of these "NUMB NUTS," flys smack into a 5 million dollar home? , thus breaking their insufficient self funded insurance fund, JOKE.

Are they truly liscenced insurers, wait lets call Hartford, CT friends and ask them?

And I wonder too what about money structuring laws, or Lee County Mosquito Control legality to self insure, and then also use TAX PAYER'S money for their own credit union loans.

I found on of their disclosures online, mentioning private self loans they make to themselves at loss from their Credit Union and YOUR money.

But we are just ENRAGED at being treated this AM again, and anyone with my breathing difficulties would despise these jerks.

They are the last thing anyone wants to see or have overhead treating them.

Winds East by NE 26 MPH, Hurricane Ike is giving us winds of about 20 plus MPH, and expect a wet day with lots of rain.
Helicopter Surveillance Camera On and READY to U Tube a bogie , however no helicopter except EMS should be up today. Yet safety never appears to come in play with Lee County Mosquito control. Who would always risk endangering a human life over a mosquito. So maybe they are dumb enough to get famous today?

Red Bell LCMD Helicopter, return flight,
heading East at very low altitude behind our home.
Circles past over the US Post Office, proceeds South over Periwinkle and appears to land roughly behind Bailey's near the gas station.

ENTRY: Clumsy me!, just heard the LCMD helicopter departure take off and tripped into the computer,loosing video and other data from today.
Practice video skills a must.

Due to my own camera wires and agility gets a free ride out. Had a partial video, but the whole computer did a reboot.
Even on a day like today they are here to disturb Sanibel.

Red LCMD helicopter returns , flying at and below treetop level, treating the US POST OFFICE and surroundings AGAIN today. Avoiding pictorials?

ENTRY: Even on a nice breezy day like today we are afraid to open our windows , captive to the terror in our skies and their toxins.

ENTRY: September 12, 2008
Steve Harrison, Environmental Manager calls here 3 times today.
Mr. Harrison, is incompetent in my evaluations, and a public threat, as long as he is feeling God like, in his blanket dismissals of complaints, and menacing calls to get us to back off and stop defending our position.
One of his calls today,
Says: "Yeah your a tough guy huh?" I hung up again , 3rd time today.
Yet, these are not his first attempts at trying to deter our complaints, ones that show he can not competently or honestly do his job, in my opinion!
Unless harassment and cover ups, is what the state pays him for?

We are being poisoned by LCMD, and still harassed by the man who dismissed all evidence we presented and complaints filed through him, acting as a judge.

Wishful thought, but not your job, bug man.

Who might have prevented so much terrible loss, were he more honest instead of loyal to former employers? In my own OPINION.

I dropped the reward,and the entire issue by working with a LCMD, a lot of people and agencies are VERY aware of you, and our differences.
Some will continue paying close attention.
Any incidents, and you will be on suspect.

I want to let this go despite our losses, if it is not you fine, and good.

So please, simply remember, EVERYONE, wants this matter to discontinue.

LCMD is treating Sanibel,Island. AGAIN !

Chernobyl,(Russia) may be a healthier place to vacation and bring the kiddies or build your new home.
Sanibel is once again being treated in our neighborhood today.
They were first observed at about 9:20AM in their red bell chopper, and last spotted treating with one of their other helicopters out front working the Bailey tract. (Photo Right: Mr. Gale)
It feels like every day is a nightmare from LCMD visits here on Sanibel Island , Florida
33957.
AVOID SANIBEL ISLAND as though your life depended on it, until these helicopters are banned from flying overhead spewing their regular doses of toxins.
We can barely keep up with washing contaminated porches and clothing here, only the truly ignorant would welcome them, if anyone still does?
I hear Pine Island is begging for them, they should be happier with their mosquitoes!

Homes here should soon be selling for about one tenth of their former value is my guess.

Our constant nightmare is becoming a true testament to our county and city's management skills, in my own opinion.

We try fervently to seek help from our city manager Judith A. Zimomra, she has today by mail delivered a copy of a very kindly, much appreciated letter requesting that something be done to honor and respect our multitude of ignored opt our requests.

Your help is deeply appreciated!
My original post for today would have read like this, had I not been too worried about going out under the treating helicopters to get our mail.
My very sincere apology, I hope you understand Judith.

The letter sent on our behalf was directed to MR.T Wayne, Gale, (*See photo) who has been blocking all our e mails, as unwilling to even hear our concern or requests.
(Evidenced by my returned e mail message details)
Our city manager is appreciated and evidently trying very to be of help to us.

Can anything be done to reduce Mosquito Control by helicopter presence here? Are we at their mercy and paying millions of dollars a year too?

Perhaps, she has no influences with them as they are based in Fort Myers, and sadly so far Mr. Gale has chosen to ignore us so far. (A Steve Harris former employer, I was told by Mr. Harris, SEE REWARDS.)

We can only wonder and hope the genuine attempt at assisting us is effective so we may dare to go outside and enjoy our home.

ON an interesting note,
I can say , I spent most of the night outside and there was not even 1 mosquito. ZERO BITES
And I walked all the way home along the path that leads from the beach to Bailey's Market.

So why do they keep treating this often?
A health eco system should contain some mosquito there, and I should have had a least a few bites.

People are underestimating or ignoring the FACTS, mosquitoes are an integral part of the food chain,so are we, and their preditors now must seek other food sources or die.
This alters our fragile eco systems.
THINK PEOPLE,and WAKE UP, BEFORE, IT IS ALTERED BEYOND REPAIR!
Not a first for mankind , is it?

I was mistakenly under the impression that SAINIBEL was an environmentally aware community, and very conscientious in enviormental choices.
How very sad this place has become since LCMD began using helicopters to bombard the island and inhabitants.
All for tourism and real estate sales, and native species intollerance and eradication.

*****The mosquito is a native species, but they are butchard here for the above reasoning is my simple understanding.
Am I wrong? perhaps I missed something about decimating native species here on Sanibel?
I have been incorrect in my opinions at many times in my life, perhaps someone from the scientic community can explain how they are not. They were here on Sanibel BEFORE anyone, since the Creatacouse period I believe?
Tourists must only want to see the beach, not the biochemical hazards here from above. After all they think it is a safe vacation paradise? So they are not directly to blame for the mass slaughter of a native species here.
Who is and why are they not held legally accountable for it? Is this obstructing justice?

ENTRY 1:15 Observed treating very low over a neighbors home directly, it is unoccupied and for sale. Also witnessed fight extending down Sanibel Blvd. on the left side of road as well as crossing the road to briefly fly over the end of Bailey's super market and back across to the Bailey's tract as it is known.
Well living here in terror was never the plan, it is clear now as I fear to even let our pup out to pee much less even venture out while the toxins float through our now heavily polluted air and lawns.
We feel we are being held HOSTAGE or risk toxin exposures we don not want.
Is it time to sue the city of Sanibel, or LCMD?
How many millions is being held captive in fear worth?
Almost two PM here now and still treating, they just did out back for the third day in a row.

Well Sanibel residents can thank our once fair City for allowing LCMD to "Service Sanibel," and for making homes here undesirable to purchase for those who care about their health.

The entire world is reading.
Wow, I am amazed.
Sanibel is news now.

We have at last reached a fair "Opt Out" understanding with Mr. Carmen McKinny, and LCMD, where by pilots will be allowing us the much sought after "Opt Out" requests, and further asking his pilots not to fly over our home directly or treat closely to our home out of respect for our health and drift of mosquito treatments as well.

*More updating or editing , when I am not nursing my poor Guide dog back to health. Soon we hope.

For now , we appear to have the foundations a good mutual agreement and understanding.

It is strongly believed, my Service dog passed away from:
"organophosphate poisoning," according to confirmed source leaks direct from makers of "BT," solutions for mosquito control programs that supply LEE COUNTY,Florida.

There are reportedly 3 proprietary organophosphates poisons in along the local BT anthrax like formulas used and deployed over LEE COUNTY.
Weather this was known or unknown to anyone outside the makers is no longer of interest to me.

People and Government on all levels should follow the examples of places like, ( Northeast Massachusetts Mosquito Control and Wetlands Management District,) where they have resorted estuaries and wetland environments, with total satisfaction and zero pesticide or larvicides.

Hard work,and far less monetary cost too!, with better results.

Let the fish eat the larva and nature balance herself in a healthy way,the way ecological systems are designed to do naturally.

No lawsuits or anger will return my loved one, or can money repair my heart.

If place like Lee County, prefer to go the costly easier and unhealthy routes and poison things with anthrax like relatives, with manufacturer admitted proprietary secret ingredients, that reportedly contain organophosphates NOT SHOWN ON THE LABEL. Then may they all rot!

These choices are made at County or other government levels, who leave me sadly disappointed.

On a parting word, if you become oddly ill in a spray zone where you may have been or walked with family or friends.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME:
Tell your doctor to run blood work for suspected organophosphate markers in your blood work. Reasonable cost and if your lucky and fast you may still live. Waste no time in checking any suspected exposure if you notice strange reactions.
Especially any paralysis or similar symptom. Discard clothing or bag and save to test.
Shower lots of soap ASAP. Only soap can help to physically displace it.

There are no natural cures for this , time is crucial.
