Solar Digester

The Solar Digester is made up of 3 basic parts - an in-ground basket, an inner opaque black cone, and a green translucent outer cone with lid. The buried digestion chamber basket holds your food scraps while the soil organisms break it down. Sunlight penetrates the outer cone, heating the layer of air between the two cones. The heat is then passively circulated through the system, creating an ideally warm and aerobic environment for the micro-organisms, even in cold weather.

Composphere U-Roll System Compost Tumbler

Due to the large spherical design, the Composphere is able to retain heat generated from microbial activity better than other bins of comparable capacity. Simply fill with organic materials and roll every 5-10 days --- no mixing, no mess --- this insures optimum heat build up and provides needed oxygen for faster decompostion. Rolling movement allows contents to break down aerobically, producing a sweet pleasant aroma. During inclement weather or gale storms, the Composphere can be tethered at the tie down clamp to prevent mystery rolling.
