Who else wants to have professional chess analysis - World Champion's Chess Analysis!

Einstein already knew ...

right

Computers are incredibly fast, accurate, and stupid.

Human beings are incredibly slow, inaccurate, and brilliant.

Together they are powerful beyond imagination.

(Albert Einstein)

Excellent chess analysis is useful for ...

type=text

... Strong chess players (grandmasters, international masters...) as preparation for their opponents and finding the "poisoned" lines.

... Club players for building their opening repertoire and tournament preparations.

... Correspondence chess players for every single move in their games.

... Chess writers for analysing and annotating games and openings lines for publishing.

Four elements of good computer chess analysis

type=text

It's like a chair with four legs ...

type=textThe ideal performer of chess analysis on a computer using chess programs should be well supported in all four areas. He must be strong and experienced chess player. He must have a powerful computer with good chess programs. He must have a lot of time and the most important - he has to know, what he is doing. He must be well versed in in the field of computer chess analysis.

This is exactly the same as sitting on the chair, which must have four legs that you can sit on it comfortably. If someone is handicapped on any of the above areas, the quality of the final results will be significantly worse. If the chair has only three legs, the quality of our sitting is inferior and chair with two legs is quite useless ...

An example of poor computer analysis

Inexperienced operator of computer analysis, will open the position by the user interface, runs the static analysis and goes to a few hours walk in the nature. When he returns, he will see the results, Bg4 as the best move and will be satisfied with "his work". The analysis is already finished. But is this really good analysis?

No, of course not, far from that. This analysis is very very bad!

A better computer analysis

The more experienced player will include a dynamic analysis, leaving a computer turned on over the night and goes to the well-deserved sleep. During the night he will be dreaming sweet dreams and in the morning he will overlook the results "of his" analysis. This time the computer has decided that the best move is Bf2. But an experienced player will for sure put his attention to move f5 (white sacrifice a pawn), because he knows that chess engines underestimate the deficiency of the material. So, he will take move f5 seriously into further processing ...

The Master Computer Analysis!

type=textMaster will begin his analysis quite differently. First, he will examine the position and its properties very carefully. White stands slightly better and attacks on the king's wing. Black will try to counter-attack on the queen's wing. It is necessary to stop the black on the queen's side and to rapidly initiate concrete action against the black king. White black square bishop is currently a bad piece, because it is blocked by his own pawns.

Master will see very quickly the idea of move f5, which opens the black diagonal for the bishop, weaks black pawn structure, opens the f line and begins attacking the black king. Master will take into consideration the advice of the program, but he will advise the program too, and force it to analyze the move f5.

The best computer analysis is therefore the result of a close collaboration between man and chess programs! This is what makes the difference between poor and excellent analysis.
