Computer Venture Marketing Co.{CVMCo. History; 'Working Online' Since 1988...until the end!

My name is Christian Vicars, founder of CVMCo. Originally started out in [home business consulting] during the pre www internet days - with BB$ / Bulletin Board Services, graduating naturally... into what we now know as cyberspace, or the world wide web ^^^ and, while I still do some consulting on the subject, via blogs, and now lenses;-] My main focus has been on passive or also known as organic promotions as in Search Engine Optimization [SEO] that takes home business to a whole NEW LEVEL online since the dot com BOOM, while keeping a low profile until recent years. I still stay somewhat anonymous for reasons of INTERNET SECURITY, and the ever increasing threat of IDENTITY THEFT... Now more than ever! The www is living on borrowed time^^^ Keyword will be HISTORY see more in depth on this subject at: cvmco.wordpress.com

Networking Safely...

"Simple free security measures online: Safety first is paramount online!"

Computer Venture Marketing Co. History

#1. Never use your full name, except with (https://) secure web sites. Personally I only use; "Clickbank & PayPal". I know there is plenty of "reliable affiliate networks" but I have been a member with them from the $TART, a marraige made in heaven... But even they are not oblivious to the ever increasing threats online, and recent attacks to bring down PayPal's servers, so the faster you can get your money into a local bank acc. the better!

#2. Keep your main email account off all email lists, to prevent information overload! I use, MSN/hotmail since day one, as my main account, Yahoo for subcriptions / junk (no offense yahoo'ers,) and Gmail for business. Again NONE of these accounts have my full name! Use different passwords for each^^^ minimum 8 character passwords... using a mix of numbers and letters, copied and pasted every time I log in anywhere, due to key logger software that can run un-noticed on your PC. So disconnect from the www use a pc registry cleaner to clear your memory cache, also run checks for spywares - then make a text file to copy and paste your passwords to and from, when loggin in anywhere online!

#3. Social Networking, can be very valuable in promoting your opportunities but (not necessary) therefore, unless you are already hooked into the typical ones; [facebook, myspace, twitter, youtube, Linkedin] etc., etc... I say DON'T BOTHER, again for security reasons, as Google now owns youtube, and controversy over BIG BROTHER compiling your every move! However, if you do - ALL THE SAME applies as #2...Edit your profiles RIGHT NOW using your 1st name only, with your 2nd name in place of your last, or SIMPLY delete your profiles, and be done with it.

Since the main concern here is security, while finding a [real money maker] and to do that, your real name is only needed for Clickbank or PayPal... to cut you a check, and anyone who knows you personally, already knows your name & face, so keep it that way^ why, well it's now known that facebook uses facial recognition software with all profiles, compiling a vast data base for who knows what!

Sincerely, CVMCo.

PS
Again be SURE to...DISCONNECT when you are not online, to prevent TROJAN VIRUSES from entering your PC UNDETECTED, also; REBOOT your PC daily to empty your CACHE while running any REGISTRY CLEANER you have or get, will do just fine...EVERY DAY! You do not want unscrupulous HACKERS using your IP address, as a host, and it's OFTEN the little guy they target to carry out their DIRTY DEEDS!

End Game

And WHY?

This will put into perspective, the need for security on & off line, and why I have been saying for years; "The internet is living on borrowed time!"
