Video game characters make great costumes, the imagination and fantasy of a game can be re lived at a party and can be great when there are a few of your friends going as characters from the same game or to a game themed party.
Cult characters like Mario are easy to recognise and the mario games make great couples costumes as you can pair mario with the pink princess costume. They are also suitable for 80's themed parties as are the streetfighter costumes.

Mario And Princess Peach Couples Costume
The perfect video game couples costume, Mario and Princess Peach. In the game Mario and Princess Peach, formerly known as Princess Toadstool (of the toadstool kingdom) share a secret relationship, Princess peach typically playing a damsell in distress role where Mario has to rescue her, usually from the evil Bowser resisting his marriage proposals.Both costumes come as pictured but there will be mnore lenses to follow on individual costumes so be sure to check my profile!
Streetfighter Costumes
The video game, Street Fighter was released in 1987, the first of many where, in the first game, the player had control of Ryu who competed in an international Martial Arts tornament fighting ten opponents, the second player could take control of his rival Ken at any time. Both of these costumes are available and again i shall be talking about them in more detial in other lenses.They all make excellent fancy dress costumes because they are so unique from anything else with Akuma standing out with his bright red spiky hair and Ryu with his white combat clothing with red headband. A real idea for any 80's themed party.
Halo Costumes
Halo was originally a DC comics superhero, but, like most comic books they get brought to life either on the big screen or through gaming. Halo was released by Microsoft and has been incarnated three times since the release of "Halo: Combat Evolved" on the 15th november 2001 up to the third release in 2007 - "Halo 3".Halo is the hottest selling video game in history, Halo 3 made over $170 million worth of sales in its first day alone!
The costume is a replica of the Master Chief character played in the game, featuring a fully padded body with green army body armour and helmet.
