The Worst parts of Vista

Windows Vista vs. Windows XP

http://chris.pirillo.com/ - Here's why I'm "upgrading" from Windows Vista to Windows XP in a few days. I just flipped on the webcam and started talking - it's all based on a post I made to my personal blog the other day. Are you on Vista? Are you still on XP? What are your plans?

I followed this link from a supposed computer repair shop.

Anybody who has any competent person can clearly see how small the difference between vista and xp-2000 really is. I find it hilarious that somebody who owns a computer shop and claims 20 years experience honestly uses the language "Vista Infected Computer".

If you've worked as an administrator in any capacity within a windows environment, your take on vista should be... oh, everything I've been doing since windows 2000 still works the same way? you mean... I can goto the command prompt and enter any command I would in 2000-XP... wowwwww amazing.

Turn off UAC and enable the administrator account and most vista users are going to love vista. Lie to them about their computers, and you're just helping to spread the ignorance.

and no... switching to mac or linux is not the answer. If these people can't handle an XP to Vista switch, how can you possibly expect them to switch to something completely alien?

being in the tech field I am with you on this I am really comfortable with XP and don't wish to bring the pain of Vista into my world yet. I count on my Lap Top everyday in the field, I really need something that is working and XP fits that bill.
