Conduit Method Case Studies

Two conduit sites are already earning me money.

About six weeks ago I found Chris Rempel's Conduit Method report. It's part of his VIP Confessions series.

I set up two small sites using the Conduit Method. I didn't really think anything would happen with them. They were more for fun than anything else.

One of my conduit sites is in a health and fitness niche - really a huge niche so I knew that one would be a bit of a gamble. Kind of stupid, actually, to go after this particular niche, but what the hell.

The second conduit site was promoting a techie/geeky gadget, so I was mostly focusing on just one type of product but promoting different brands using the Conduit method as Chris teaches it.

For whatever reasons, I was sure the site I created targeting the broader health and fitness niche would suck, but it turned out to make money within seven days and continues to earn for me. I've had about 1500 visitors so far. Mostly I'm grabbing traffic from submitting articles to directories, getting backlinks at a few health forums, and doing some bookmarking at a few bookmarking sites.

That site was launched in August and so far I've logged about $1000 in sales. Not bad since a lot of the health and fitness stuff I'm promoting on that site doesn't earn me a huge commission. Because I wanted to have lots of pages and minireviews to make the site substantial, I included some low ticket items earning me just $5 - $10 in commission. I also have a few of the usual Clickbank ebooks on there that pay out more commissions. Half of what I've sold on the site so far is digital items, half are physical products.

So I'm pretty happy with that site.

The second site promoting a type of gadget isn't doing so well. I'm not sure what the problem is as the niche isn't highly competitive. I also use this gadget myself so I know how to create content for it pretty easily. And I've found some great material (user feedback) from some little known forums where I can grab feedback to post on my site about the different brands of this gadget.

I followed pretty much the same procedure for each site with building backlinks and content. So for whatever reasons the site in the huge niche is out performing the gadget/tiny niche site. I've only made about $450 from the gadget site so far, but it really didn't get any traffic until just last week when Google suddenly started liking a few of the pages.

So we'll see.

I think the Conduit Method is pretty cool so far and it sure saves me a lot of time. Since you don't have to write articles and lots of content for these sites, they can be very fast to set up.

You can check out the Conduit Method here:
Conduit Method Report by Chris Rempel.

And he's also come out with a bunch of templates to help you set up conduit sites really quickly. He has templates for WordPress and XSitePro in the package- plus some regular html templates and some great SEO checklists you can use each time you bring out a new site.

The Conduit Method Works

So easy, a monkey can do it.

The Conduit Method has really been saving my ass lately. I was a journalism student once, which means that I have grown to detest writing. Whenever I'm launching a new site and I'm confronted with the prospect of having to write content I want to curl up in a ball and suck my thumb.

Yes, writing on deadlines for four years while pursuing a useless degree can do that to you. The trauma goes deep.

I should probably see a therapist about that. Whatever.

Anyway, I recently found this WAY cool niche that NOBODY is exploiting while - of all things - looking in the back of a girlie magazine. And when I say girlie magazine, I don't mean girlie as in with boobies everywhere, but girlie as in loaded down with feminine ads for shoes, purses, makeup, and other foreign stuff.

I knew that to go into this niche I'd have to research it carefully since I'm handicapped as far as understanding accessories and other girl things.

Well I quickly found that there's a lot of money to be made in this niche. But I dreaded writing content for a new site.

And I didn't want to hire some guy from India to get in touch with his inner girl, either, and write for me.

So I decided to publish the site as a Conduit site.

Thank god.

Instead of procrastinating about the site for weeks like I often do when I'm confronted with having to do lots of content creation I got the site up in about three days.

It started making me money within the week.

So far it's looking pretty good, profit-wise. I'm a little worried that with this looming depression/rececession/end of the world as we know it that it might not be as profitable as it would have been six months ago, but hey, as long as it's earning for me, I'll take it.

Beats working for tips as a lounge lizard - which I'm still doing, and still detesting. If one more 70 year old comes up to me asking me for his favorite Sinatra tune I will have to puke all over him. Sorry.

Conduit Method - Affiliate Marketing for Dummies

Talk about lazy marketing. This is it.

Without revealing Conduit Method secrets too much, I have to say that it really is a low impact, low effort style of creating websites. Very appealing if you just want to use a cut and paste methodology and rework sites with an existing template.

Or if you want to you can use the special templates Chris Rempel has published for Conduit Method users.

He has a special package of templates you can use whether you're running your site with WordPress, Dreamweaver, or XSitePro. It's called Site Layouts that Sell.

I'm just using an old Dreamweaver template and replacing new colors and font styles through css and kind of doing my own thing. Which seems to be working.

However I've recently been teaching my college age nephew to create conduit sites and he's using XSitePro so we got him the template package, which he likes very much. It can be a bit of a time-saver if you hate designing sites. Also with the Conduit Method you need to structure your site a certain way, and these templates make it easy to set your site up.

Why Conduit Method Websites are Perfect if You Hate Writing
If you hate to write or you're a non-native English speaker, you'll find Conduit Method sites super easy to set up. Read the details in my article.

Working on New Conduit Method Case Studies Site

I've been inspired to put together a site that talks about my experiences using Chris Rempel's Conduit Method. I'm including stats and case studies from the sites I've already built using the Conduit Method, plus I talk about other stuff related to building profitable affiliate websites.

The site should be ready soon. I'm hoping to have it up within the week. Mostly I was inspired to create it because my friends have been asking for more info about how the Conduit Method works, whether it's for them, how much I'm earning from these super simple sites, etc. My nephew is doing well with his new conduit sites and I'll also be sharing some of what he's doing.

Again, the Conduit Method is such a no brainer for building profitable sites fast - why haven't you grabbed your copy of the report yet?

Second Conduit Method Site Doing Better

The second conduit method site I built is slowly coming along. I think there are still some things I could be doing better, but it's starting to grab some organic traffic. I was worried about it for a while since it hasn't been performing as well as my first conduit site.

I think the two factors affecting this second site are a)giving it time to age in the search engines and b)starting to get some links to it from forums and directories. I hadn't been building many backlinks for it because with my first conduit site I didn't really need many. With my first site I was getting traffic after building just 40 or so backlinks. I built about that same amount for the second site but nothing happened. So I upped it to about 100 backlinks and now the site it doing much better.

I still think the Conduit Method is a hidden gem of a technique. People aren't fully exploiting it yet, which means there's still time to set up your own conduit sites and put these techniques to work making money for you.

New Conduit Case Studies Site Prepping for Launch

I've been tinkering today with my Conduit Method Case Studies site. It's coming along. I'm torn between doing a soft launch and just getting the thing up an indexed or waiting to create more content for it. Knowing me I'll probably go the lazy man's route and just get the thing up and indexed.

I'm having so much fun with my three Conduit sites. These are such low effort sites compared to just about everything else I've done to make money online. Forget writing tons of crappy articles hoping to earn 2 cents from somebody clicking on your Adsense ad. Those days are over when you decide to do a Conduit site. Now you can expect to see juicy affiliate commissions coming in instead of hoping that one day you'll receive an Adsense check large enough to pay off an actual bill.

Affiliate marketing has been paying the bulk of my bills for a while, but my Conduit sites are relatively new. I'm loving how they're doing so far.

At my new case studies site I'll be sharing some advanced strategies for getting the most of your sites built using the Conduit Method. I won't give away Chris Rempel's actual method, of course. For that, you'll have to shell out a whole $14.95 to buy your own copy of his report: The Conduit Method Report from Chris Rempel.

After that, though, you can check out my new website and access my bonus report that tells you how to "max" your results from the Conduit Method.

The Conduit Method - Perfect for You if You Hate Selling

One of the cool things about the Conduit Report is that you don't have to sell anything. Sites you build using this method require minimal text and so you're not wasting a lot of time creating advertising copy.

I've never been good at sales copy. My sales letters suck. So the Conduit Method has been a life saver for me. It's a nice technique to create affiliate sites that look authoritative and high quality without spending years writing endless articles for them.

It's not a total "lazy man's" technique, though. You still have to research a niche and find a bunch of products to promote in that niche. But if you enjoy that part of things and hate writing, you'll love the Conduit Method. It's also a great technique to use if you're a non-native English speaker or if you just hate writing.

I was a journalism major in school and even I have gotten burned out from writing endless articles for my blogs and other sites. So using the Conduit method is a nice break from all that work.

Finding Profitable Niches with the Conduit Method

When you're creating a site using the Conduit Method, you need to find a product category where there are lot of different brands and types of products being sold. Sometimes I'll target a really narrow type of product (example: electric toothbrushes.) Sometimes I'll go a little broader into a niche (example: instead of electric toothbrushes, dental care.) Both ways of attacking a niche can work well.

I try to do some keyword research on both the actual niche or broad category and also the individual product names. If I see that some products brands don't have too much competition in Google, then I feel confident about going into that niche. I usually target a mixture of products that everybody is selling plus things that don't get mentioned as much in the search engines.

Since the way you assemble a site requires you to have a lot of products, it's great if you can find a niche where there are dozens of products. If your niche only has about a ten products in it that might not be a good target for a site using the Conduit Method. Generally you'll do better in a niche where there are lots of products being sold and more coming on the market all the time.

Chris goes into more detail about this in his report and accompanying video. It's easy.

Hate to Write? The Conduit Method is for You

Blogging can be a lot of fun, but when you've built dozens of blogs and have to update them all the time, it's a real pain in the butt. And when you have multiple websites going that's annoying, too. You get to the point where that initial burst of inspiration is gone and it's a real drag updating your sites.

I haven't had good experiences outsourcing. Maybe I'm just not meant to have employees. But the articles I've paid for with elance freelancers and so forth have just been terrible. So there I had shelled out money for content and I couldn't even use any of it.

So that means I'm the one who has to update content on my sites.

Never in the history of Internet marketing has there really been a way to minimize the amount of content you create for a site. Unless you have a store front or product catalogue style of site, and Google doesn't usually like those sites until they get really built up and big because there's such a small amount of text per page.

Well, the Conduit Method solves the age old hassle of creating content. When you create a site using the Conduit method, you use certain simple "cheats" which allow you to get just the right amount of text on a page without having to be creative. You won't have to sit there and write dozens of articles. The method is super lean, super simple, and super fast.

If you hate to write, then you'll love the Conduit Method.

Affiliate Marketing - the Musician's Dream

In my other life I'm a professional musician. Some months I have so many gigs that I can barely sleep or remember to eat. Other months are so lean that my cupboards are bare unless I have other income coming in. Because of the on again, off again nature of show business, it can be challenging getting a stable income going.

I'm not willing to give up on my dream of making it "big" just yet. That's why affiliate marketing has turned out to be such a godsend for me.

There are very few things in life that can be earning you money both day and night, whether you turn up for work or not. That's the beauty of affiliate marketing. Just set them up and getting them going, and they can be "stealth" earners that keep bringing in the bucks.

Not every affiliate site will be a winner, but right now enough of mine are performing well that I don't have to scramble around for a part-time job to supplement what I earn as a keyboard and piano player. My jazz trio can be busy during the summer months playing weddings, but in the fall and winter it can be a little lean. That's why I'm so glad to have discovered affiliate marketing.

And I was really excited after I started running sites using the Conduit Method. These sites are lean, simple, and fast to set up. They're a great way to test a market and see if the products convert.

You do have to do a few things to beef up these sites, though. I find that if I don't add a few things to the mix, my conduit sites don't perform as well.

That's why I'm working on a free report called Conduit Method Maxed which will be available at my new conduit case studies website. You'll learn tips that can improve your earnings on conduit method sites. Doing just a few things can increase your profits from conduit sites, so you won't want to miss my report.

It will be available shortly off my new conduit site - which I need to get working on now!

Catch ya later.

Conduit Method Case Studies Site Launches

It's finally up!

Third New Conduit Site is a Success

Although it's threatening my masculinity, it's earning me money.

So my third Conduit Method site has been up a little while, and it's giving me daily chuckles. The niche caters to persons of the female persuasion so I have to put on my high heels and garters to get into the right mood to create content. (*Kidding.*) Seriously, I do have to get in touch with my inner female to write articles for it. But it's been worth it so far.

I've never been terribly comfortable tackling niches as an affiliate when the niche is way outside my comfort zone. But I was looking at some of my girlfriend's magazines, checking out the ads (some of which happened to feature supermodels.) And I got the idea to research a product that I'd never have thought about before.

I built a simple Conduit site around it and have been doing the bare minimum of backlinking and content posting. It's already made me about $350. The commissions aren't huge in this niche and I won't see the checks for a while because I'm promoting physical goods instead of digital goods, but if a new site with barely any traffic can earn me a few hundred bucks in a week or two, I think this site will be a nice earner for me over time.

So I guess the moral of the story is.....

Actually, there are two morals.

One is, building sites using Chris Rempels' Conduit Method is super simple. You can easily get into weird niches you'd normally feel odd about going into.

And the second moral of the story is, it pays to get in touch with your inner girl once in a while. Even if you're a guy. Girls like to buy lots of weird shit. And you can make good commissions selling the stuff.

Conduit Method - My Free PDF Report

Grab the Conduit Method Maxed for free now, you loser.

Okay, so you're not a loser. I just said that to get your attention.

But chances are that if you're into Internet marketing you'd like to be earning more with your sites, right?

That's where I may be able to help you.

See, months ago I was doing sites the hard way. Writing tons of content on exciting subjects like boils and hangnails and dog body odor or whatever niche I was into at the moment. I was fiddling around endlessly with WordPress templates. I was doing way too much damned work, that's what I was doing.

In August I got the Conduit Method by Chris Rempel. And things changed. This report costs a whole $14.95 for the report plus two videos.

In case you've been sleeping under a rock and haven't heard about it yet, the Conduit Method is a simple, streamlined technique for building affiliate sites fast. They start earning for you right away because you're targeting buyers instead of "freebie seekers." That's where I was doing wrong with my earlier blogs. I had lots of traffic but no sales. People were stopping by for my information but not buying anything. Duh!

Once I started making conduit sites everything changed. I have three of these sites up plus a fourth one that's very new. The first three are performing really well. I'm making the equivalent of a starting salary at your average "office job" just from these sites, without the pain of actually having to get up and get showered in the morning and drive to an office.

I still get up, and I still get the occasional shower. But life is a lot easier. I just tinker around putting up new conduit sites and post a little new material on my older sites and basically sit around and count the money.

In the process of publishing my conduit sites I did discover seven tricks or "twists" which can make these sites perform a lot better. I wrote them up in a free pdf report called The Conduit Method Maxed. If you're interested in building conduit sites you should check it out.

My report is free and you don't need to sign up for a list or anything. Just stop by the site and grab the free pdf.

The Visitor Value Multiplier Manifesto by Chris Rempel

Split testing can be a pain, but it's a necessary evil if you want to increase your income.

There's a new report out by Chris Rempel called the Visitor Value Multiplier Manifesto (there's a mouthfull. But don't worry, the report is really good.)

At first I was reluctant to buy it because it's about the importance of testing different elements of your site to make sure it converts.

I've been lazy about testing, but as Chris says on his sales page, he added an extra $2600 per month income by spending about ten minutes making one simple tweak to his site. So testing is a no brainer. You have to do it.

It's all about getting more value from each visitor to your site. After all, you've worked damned hard to get traffic, why not make the most money you can from each visitor?

Just doing some of the simple things that Chris lays out in his report could increase your income drastically. This report is the latest in his VIP Confessions series, and like each of them, it's very sharp and to the point. And it only costs $14.95, which is nothing. Grab your copy now:

Affiliate Marketing - You Can Do It If I Can

The Conduit Method Makes it Easy

Okay, at the risk of beating the subject to death - what the hell, I'm going to beat it to death anyway - affiliate marketing really doesn't have to be that hard. And using The Conduit Method by Chris Rempel makes it damned easy.

I've been getting into this cool routine that involves a very simple recipe - it goes like this:

1) Research niche - find something that has good demand, middle to low competition, and enough keywords that aren't too competitive that I know I can grab organic traffic pretty fast.

2) Come up with my top keyword list which I write articles about for the site before launching it. Develop secondary keywords list, too, for later use.

3)Cut and paste from the template to create a new site. Populate it with products and links.

4) Launch the damned site.

5) Gradually build backlinks.

Oh, and about backlinks. I don't worry about only linking to sites that are in my same niche. Google appreciates your backlinks looking organic, and which do you think is more organic - having hundreds of overly optimized backlinks that only come from sites in your niche or having a mixture of targeted, niche-related links plus some "general interest" backlinks from popular forums, hobby sites, news sites, etc.?

I'll let you cogitate on that one.

In the meantime, if you use the simple guidelines Chris Rempel outlines in the Conduit Method and you throw in some extra tweaks from my free Conduit Method Maxed report, you're going to do all right in this game.

Best Affiliate Marketing Tips

I share my seven best affiliate marketing tips you can use today.

So I've been submitting a few articles to ezinearticles. I'm not a huge fan of article submission but I figure the extra traffic won't hurt my new site. Also it gives me a chance to ramble and pontificate and sound all smart.

No, I didn't steal the content from anybody else or rewrite an existing article. These are the real principles I follow now when I set up successful affiliate marketing sites. Conduit Method Case Study 4 Is Up

Why Clickbank sucks and Paydot.com products work better.

I launched another Conduit site only this time I was promoting Internet Marketing ebooks, mostly from Clickbank. Unfortunately this was right around the time that Clickbank BROKE. Their tracking system and payment processor just went belly up and everybody is complaining about how their commissions aren't being credited properly.

So I switched my links out to comparable products on Paydot.com and suddenly my sales went through the roof. I'm doing very well on this site now that I've said a big $%^ you to Clickbank.

My New Conduit Method Case Study

How I'm Making Money in a Weight Loss Sub-Niche

Well, it's March 2009, and I'm still making great money with my conduit sites. Some are performing better than others.

I launched a new conduit method site in late November. I went after a weight loss sub-niche. Really it's almost a sub sub niche because I drilled down pretty far within the weight loss category before I found a good entry point.

The site did really well for me in January and February 2009, earning me $1050 per month. March has dropped a little but I still have a lot of work to do on the site and I know I can keep this site earning for me.

You still need to juice up your conduit method sites a bit using the techniques I outline in my free Conduit Method Maxed report. This is because as the conduit method has become more popular, you'll find more competiting sites set up in conduit method style. But if you follow the tips I outline in my free pdf report your sites will do fine.

You can read my newest detailed case study about what I did within the weight loss sub-niche here: Conduit Case Study 5.
