Roadside Oddities: Confusion Hill

In California amongst the giant redwoods is hidden a vortex.

Mystery spots throughout the west coast have been a favorite of skeptics and believers alike.

Like many of the other mystery spots an Ames Room is the main attraction. However unlike many of the mystery spots this is a self guided tour, allowing you to explore the complexities of this phenomenon!

Visiting the first stop you are reminded about the power of distortion with some fun mirrors, but the fun doesn't stop there.

When entering the "Gravity House" you are immediately perplexed and set off balance. Is this because of the vortex, or the use of forced perspective?

One of the many wonders of this these little tricks of the vortex is water running up hill. Surprisingly the few vortex's I've visited the water always flow North! - What a mystery!
