Connect Four

Connect Four is a game for two players. The Hasbro version of the game has a yellow slotted grid with seven spaces across and six spaces down. The grid is held up with two blue side legs. There are twenty-one each of red and black checker pieces and the players take turns filling the spaces to get four across, up and down or diagonally before their opponent. There is a blue release lever to allow you to easily empty the grid and play again.

This is a classic checkers game and legend has it that Captain James Cook used to play the game on long voyages. It is also called Captain's Mistress. There are several versions available today. A new twist on the game involves players launching their pieces into the air to land on a horizontal game board to get four in a row.
