Find Unclaimed Money in Connecticut

The CT Treasury Department has launched a program, increasing efforts to put Connecticut unclaimed money back in the hands of the rightful owners. The state has been publishing tens of thousands of names of citizens who are due unclaimed property, in newspapers throughout the state.

A recent report said unclaimed tax refunds worth roughly $732,000 were in the IRS' hands prior to the October 15 deadline for filing. Most of this may be turned-over to the state as Connecticut unclaimed property.

The government is currently holding over$30 BILLION in forgotten assets, and it's estimated that 7 out of 10 Americans are owed some of these funds, which means there's a good chance YOU are due a claim!

Need some unclaimed money search tips?

As the following video will show you, not all unclaimed money sites are the same. Many will claim to have a "national unclaimed property database". This is COMPLETELY FALSE. No such database exists, and many of the "search databases", are filled with bogus information so that virtually anyone will seem to be due a claim.

Many sites will also try to charge you "per search" fees, as well as finders fees. Don't fall in to the trap. Not all unclaimed money sites are the same.
