Why I like The Connection Church

What I like best about the connection church, is just that it's not "churchie."

I don't mean that in a bad way.

What I mean by that, is that it's a church with real people. Not people that put on a face when they go to church, or pretend to be something they're not. These are real people, that lead real lives.

Our pastor, is a guy named Cole Phillips. He started the church 3 years ago, but if you really think about it, Cole didn't start the church.

A recent newspaper article said the church grew from 4 people to over 500 members in those 3 years. The only reason something like that happens is if the church is living up to its mission of connecting people with God, with the church and with each other.

This weekend, we moved into our new venue at the Hays County Performing Arts Center, aka "The PAC." I had the honor of handling the house video for our very first service at the PAC. I took a couple of pictures, which I've included below.

I left service so inspired that I had to make this lens about my church.

We have services on Sunday (duh) and it is currently 1 service at 10:15 am. Come check us out.

Christian books on Amazon

The Connection Church in Kyle is listed as a case study in the Pop Goes the Church book. They dedicated a whole section to us. We're notorious for having done something that no other church has done, nor probably will do. Get the book to find out what that was.

The other 2 books, are awesome books about Christian principles. What I like about these books, is that they are not preachy and are both written in an easy to read and understand fashion.
