and Can You or Can't You??
I've already confessed right here on this very lens that I am definitely NOT a Wonder Woman (maybe a distant and poor relation though....well, maybe not). How about you?
Are you a Wonder Woman Wannabee?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byYes I am, I've got it all under control: Want my autograph?
says:
I don't know if I'm ready to lay down my cape just yet. I am well on my way to being an old grump though. In my 30yrs I've already come to the realization that animals make much better friends and don't even get me started about family. Great lens! Thanks for visiting mine.

I think all women are wonder women. Like you said, we give birth and nourish the baby with our own bodies. Men can't do that! And we're all wonderful!!

Well...... no.... but regardless of knowing that I "can't do it all" - I still try. Definitely a WOMAN!

I am a wonder woman by just being alive and breathing. Thats all I need to be one :)

Well, I think my hubby would say that I am all about getting my life under control. But it has become a bit tougher with all the time I spend on Squidoo!

Yes, sometimes I try to be Wonder Woman, then I fall on my backside. *sigh*

I AM a Wonder Woman: I wonder where I put my car keys? I wonder if I have enough milk to last until I can get to the store again? I wonder, did I actually put gas in the car or did I just think about it? Yep, wonder woman - that's me:)

Not Wonder Woman but W-O-M-A-N! I find it amazing how I can get three or four things going and my husband (love the dear) is still finishing one thing. I think it is an inborn thing. We were made to balance several things at once. How else could you watch your child, cook dinner, write a letter, do laundry.....all at once. YES!

Dear "Superman"
Other than missing the whole point of this lens (which would be satire); you may wish to forestall your personal irritation with us lowly mortals by simply CLOSING YOUR EYES - or better yet - by going somewhere else...

Superman says:
So what happens to the supermen? I guess the only reason you feel it's all a bit too much while you're really doing no more than any of us is because you feel inclined to write blogs about it. Save yourself the time, and save us the irritation.
Pf, wonder woman. the thing so wondrous about her isn't all the amazing feats, it's actually not complaining about them. If only you could be a stay-at-home mom. Then again, it'd likely only add to the seemingly endless stream of online sulks and tears.
SUCK IT UP.

I was a victmm of WW syndrom for a long time but it's a formula for burn out and frustration for sure. Now that I've grown up (or is it old?)and I don't even try do it all - I just do what I want to do and delegate the rest. Tee hee.

Nope. I finally figured out (no thanks to Snopes) that the whole thing is a hoax!
MiaBellezza says:
I'm not a Wonder Woman, but my husband wishes I was, i.e. mow the lawn, rake the leaves, do the manly chores. I think not, in fact, he used to complain every time I returned from grocery shopping. He'd either say "where's the food", or "you spent too much". I couldn't win, so he does all the grocery shopping now! He doesn't like it and still asks if I will do it, and I say "No!".
Thanks for dropping by. Funny lens and 5*!

Nope, no wonder woman here . . . though people frequently tell me it`s amazing how I do it all. What they don`t see is that I do NOTHING about housework and I take naps. ;) A helpful hubby who is home all day (he`s a musician)is the real secret!

God did NOT create women to "do it all" (thank Him)...I've found that out through 60+ years, during most of which I tried VERY hard to be Wonder Woman. Y'know what? She's a COMIC STRIP! I'M REAL & almost wore myself plum out before I figured it out!

Correction: But a Wonder Woman Wannabee is not something that I have to do now; nor is it anything that I WANT to do now.
Posted March 10, 2009
purplelady says:
I can't really say that I ever was a Wonder Woman Wannabee.
There are times that I was one; but that was because I had to be, not necessarily because I wanted to be. When I turned 50, I proclaimed that I was the age when I was going to get to do things not have to do things. Boy, was I wrong. Now I am retired and although I have some more time to do things thatI want to do; I still have many things to do that I have to do.
But a Wonder Woman Wannabee is not something that I have to do now; nor is it anything that I have to do now.

Nope, Nada, Not Now, Never.... well ONCE, but NO MORE! Now I'm retired, the 'kids' are grown, and I no longer need to be Wonder Woman (or have any desire to be). Living Life in the Slow Lane!

Nope, and never tried to be. We live to relax and have fun. Our horses and their health issues are our biggest obstacles and we thoroughly enjoy helping them.

Never was, never had any hope of being, but I did once make a charming little Wonder Woman Halloween costume for my daughter, who wore it until it had so many holes in it years later, stretching the few threads across her by then much larger bottom and torso, that its frayed tatters simply flapped in the wind.

I think there should be a third option. I'm always trying to do it all. So that would make me a Wonder Woman Wannabee. But I definitely do not under control. Perfectionism is a disease! But I'm not as perfect as I use to be.
