God's Grace Notes is the handle that I've adopted, because the Bible is the place that I found just that...

God's Grace, written in many notes; in a book created just for me!
Well; I know that the Bible was written for all of us, but it's had such a profound impact on my own life, it makes me feel as if it were written just for me.

I'm passionate about my faith, my family, my kitties, good mental health ...and my crafting!

I'm a devoted disciple of Jesus, because I discovered that he really had a good plan for my life; and I found it in the pages of the Bible.


I love to write, draw, paint, sew....as you visit more of my lenses, you will discover that I love crafting as much as I love writing. I have more ideas than I could ever hope to accomplish in this lifetime; but I sure am enjoying the creative process! I have many interests and passions that provide the opportunity for me to write to my heart's content.

I discovered Squidoo in October of 2006, and I've been happily writing ever since. In fact, I've built so many groups and lenses, that I've been privileged to become a Giant Squid.

SQUID ANGEL ALUMNI

I wrote my first story when I was 8 years old, but it has been in recent years that I've discovered that writing is not only a past time, it's a powerful tool for expressing one's thoughts and opinions. I've also discovered that once you find your voice, you can change the world with your writings.

IF you can find someone to listen...
That's where Squidoo fits into my life. In the early years of my life, I was that invisible child who hovers in the background of everyday living, waiting for permission to do ANYTHING. As you can see, that's not the case anymore!

Writing has given me the opportunity to express myself, discover who I am, what I want to be when I grow up, and articulate the goals that I plan to accomplish once I get there.

I've grabbed my life by the horns, and I'm chasing my dreams....all the way to the rainbow! My life has become an incredible adventure in living, and I love it when my day to day activities intersect with other like minded individuals.

Clara is made from a pair of sweatpants I was given while I was "living" in a homeless shelter a few years ago. I am only just beginning to realize the significance of what happened the day I made this great big chicken!

I've just begun to share the story, but talking about it in my lenses is helping me to fully process the fact that I really was homeless, and I'm finally beginning to come out of the shock that is associated with that harsh reality.

The cool thing about it is...my life has taken a giant turn for the good, and becoming a Giant Squid has been an integral part of my recovery process. As the scripture says,

 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28, King James Version)

I was a rookie designer when I built my stores, so I need to make some revisions to my designs. I'm working my way through my Giant To-Do list, so I'll be excited to make the changes that will reflect my better understanding of pixels, jpg's and file extensions!
