Constant Content: Worth Your Time?

Ranked #8,042 in Books, Poetry & Writing, #284,942 overall

Is Constant-Content Worth Your Time?

The answer is Yes!

If you're a freelance writer like me, you're constantly on the search to find a trustworthy site where you can submit your articles.

The number of freelance writing sites on the World Wide Web is staggering. How do you know which ones are legitimate?

I highly recommend you research them first. Type in Google the name of the freelance site you're interested in and add the word "scam" in the search field. Read the reviews. This will help you figure out which freelance writing sites you should avoid. Obviously, no freelance site is perfect. There will always be complaints, but it's better to know what you're getting into before you sign up, especially before you pull out your credit card if the site requires a membership fee. Constant-Content does not.

I was impressed with the positive reviews of Constant-Content so I signed up, took the test, and wrote my first article.

Wait a minute, hold the phone, did I say "test?"

Constant-Content Test

type=textYes, there is a little test you have to take to become a writer for the Constant-Content site. Is it hard? No.

BUT, don't rush through it. Read each question carefully. It's a short test, but by no means should you breeze through it and half-read the questions. They can be a little tricky and are worth reading through twice before you click your answer.

I personally HATE tests. I was a little nervous taking the darn thing, even though I have a strong writing background. I'm human and we all make mistakes. I was relieved with my score of 100 %.

Constant-Content has strict guidelines so don't think you can miss four questions and be accepted. Take your time and think about your answers. The test was not timed so you have some time to read through the questions carefully.

Constant-Content has Strict Guidelines

type=textConstant-Content has strict editing guidelines, but you can't blame the editors. Article buyers come to the Constant-Content site because they expect and deserve quality writing. They pay for it, sometimes $100 or more. If I was shelling out $100 for an article, I'd want to make sure it was the very best on the subject.

As a Constant-Content writer, you can choose your own subjects to write about or you can check the Requested Content section to see what article buyers are looking for. There's also a section that reveals the articles that were recently purchased. I always check that to see what's selling.

You'll have to do some reading when you sign up because the site is full of rules for submission. Also, look at their suggested reading concerning grammar and punctuation rules.

My first article was rejected because I accidentally left out one word. One word. Arghhhhhhhh. I corrected it and resubmitted the same article. Passed!

Personally, I like the site because it's strict. It can make you a better writer. Think about it. It's hard to respect a freelance writing site that contains articles that look like they're written by a machine.

Constant-Content editors do check for plagiarized content so make sure your writing is original.
