Contra Virus Exposed?

Contra Virus isn't really a virus, its a class of spyware called "rogue antispyware." They infect your computer and claim to remove threats from your computer when in fact they are spyware themselves.

They will display false positives to trick you into purchasing their software. And they will show popups or redirect you to unwanted web sites.

Contra Virus is a version of the Smitfraud Trojan. When you try to remove it from your computer it will reinstall itself.

It is a program that is designed to hide from detection. I don't recommend manually removing Contra Vrius unless you are a trained computer technician. If you do it wrongly it can mess up your computer even worse than it is now.
