Control of Asthma and How To Do It

Here is a way on how you can have control of asthma when a symptom occurs. I'll use the main symptom which is when you get winded breathe.

This is pretty much when your gasping for breathe, when you are having more trouble breathing in air than out. How is this caused? By spasms or unexpected involuntary muscular contractions of minor air passages in the lungs. (also temperature change that happens quickly).

How can you control it? There are "cures" for this kind of symptoms by using lemon or honey or figs and the list goes on. But I will explain about honey. If honey is placed under the nose while having these symptoms occur, and the patient inhales the smell the symptom is relieved and the patient can breathe easier. Good fact to keep in mind!

Fustration with My Control of Asthma!

I use to have to wake up in the middle of the night because i had no control of asthma and use the big blue machine ( I can't remember what its called now) but it wasn't an inhaler. When i got sick from a cold, I got REAL sick and i just felt like i wanted to die.

The frustration that i had caused me to stay away from sports that i love at school, sorry not stay away DREAD. I guess you could say that asthma was controlling me not me controlling it. But I am one of the lucky few who was able to control it at a younger stage in life.

Please don't let your asthma control your life like it did with me..

Taking Natural Treatment To Have Control of Asthma

There are alternative ways to have control of asthma, these ways are more natural and do not require medication.

I believe if you try this you will be greatly surprised. Prescript medication mask the problem not solve the source, the first step is to figure out what is causing asthma.

Now don't get me wrong i am no way disapproving doctor prescription medication but just trying to expose that there are other alternatives. Its great that inhalers were invented! but i just didn't want to depend on it for the rest of my life. I didn't want to keep an inhaler in my pocket when i go clubbing or when I am with a girl, it's kind of embarrassing.

Causes That Cause Less Control Of Asthma

Asthma can be triggered by anything and i mean ANYTHING. Some well-known and not well known triggers that cause less control of asthma can include

Allergens (particles that cause allergies) such as dust mites, cockroaches, pollen, molds and animal dander (which are tiny scales or particles that fall off hair, feathers or skin) from any pets

Cold air or hot stuffy environments, or sudden changes in temperature Tobacco smoke and wood smoke

strong odors or fumes such as Perfumes, paints, hair sprays (CIGARETTES!)

respiratory illnesses such as Common cold, influenza,

Food chemicals that may trigger asthma can include: Sulphites (sulphur dioxide and sodium metabisulphite)

Food colours (tartrazine) Monosodium glutamate (MSG) Alcoholic drinks (Sulfite additives have been associated with triggering asthmatic responses. They are present in significant levels in most wines, but other ingredients in wine can also trigger an asthmatic response.)

Obesity
The dramatic increase in the number of asthmatics may be linked to an increase in levels of obesity, scientists have said. Researchers have found that the fatter the adult, the greater the likelihood of asthma.

Exercise (Exercise, especially in cold air, is a frequent asthma trigger)
Overeating, or laughing excessively, try running or swimming but make sure that it is not so intense the first couple of weeks, gradually grow into it, this helps strengthens the lung and helps reduce the asthma symptoms if done properly,

Chlorine contributes to asthma attacks and is proven. To avoid this try using a water purifier. This is easy to find usually at the market.
