Unleashing the Power of Our Minds Together
Working together to motivate eachother...sharing is caring!
Did you have an AHA moment today?
Manifest anything good lately?
Tell us: Do you absolutely love our lens or do you just really like it?

Sorry to hear that travelbroad. I hope it was nothing serious.

Haha, that's okay. It's good that you like yourself.
I actually did "manifest" today. I thought I was going to get hit by some kids playing with a ball nearby and boom...guess what, I got hit! Typical.

I'm on board with you Julieanne. I'm of the shift in consciousness mentality rather than the doom an gloom...oopsie I accidentally "Favorited By" myself in my own blog!

Control Your Mind for 21 December 2012
It's not about doom and gloom anymore.
What is in our future? Some interpret 21 December 2012 to be the day that the world will end. While there are others who believe that there will only be an expansion of the cranium, so to speak. Others believe that nothing will happen.
If we or continue on without any glitches; it doesn't really matter, does it? What matters most is what's going on now.
What will happen after the infamous 2012 is anyone's guess. Having said this whether you believe that world will end in the year 2012, against, undecided or indifferent; you've still got some time left there are some things that you can't to ignore.
For example: You think about someone, you turn the corner and who do you see? Conversely, the opposite generally happens when the experience or thing pops up when you wished it wouldn't.
What if we could harness this mental energy? There is documented proof that unbelievable things can be done if the mind is focused enough. A truly, unbelievable story about:a man surviving in an avalanche for 5 days. Okay, these are survival situations. But, I'm willing to bet that if we sat down to think about it, these so called myths and legends are more common than we first realize.
For most of us, time is flying by where each year seems to be filled with more drama than the last. We think it and it manifests. You can't deny that. No matter what the future brings, it is fairly certain that connecting with our brain synapses will only serve to help us in our daily lives.
No matter how you visualize it, developing our mind has to put us in a win-win situation whatever the outcome. With your mind at optimal capacity do you think that you could select those experience of life; only the ones that bring you happiness?
The process of training your mind may seem daunting but think of it this way it is quite simple because, it's natural. For the most part, we just don't realize that we do it every day.
It goes without saying, our thoughts are mostly negatively-based but if we could shift in our conscious reality, then we could rebuild with positive thinking instead. Think what we could accomplish.
The Dark Side of Positive Thinking
If you don't believe your untruth, even if it sounds positive; it won't motivate your subconscious mind to take action and your potential manifestations will stagnate.
It is well-established that there is a direct relationship to positive attitude and successful life achievements (relationship, job, health, etc.) It's good if you can come to believe in your positive thoughts but sometimes we just can not truly believe in them.
We talk a lot about the power of positive thinking at Mind Visualization but understand that there is no power that comes from even positive language that is not in truth.
Sometimes these untruths go against some heavy belief systems that have hardened within us over the course of our lifetime. Untruths that you tell yourself, even positive ones, that go against the grain of what you strongly believe in will only serve to de-sensitize and de-motivate you.
I have found that the most successful way to get around this is to be truthful to yourself, acknowledge the negative belief, and systematically navigate through each negative thought and determine why it is so hard to change it into a positive one. More than likely, you will find that there is something(s) deeper that you need to address before it can be changed.
By working on each (smaller) issue, individually at first, it would be easier to change your global patterning. It's like taking baby steps.

Wheel of Fortune
Susan B Komen-Race for the Cure
It is not only a race and but an informative and fun event for the whole family to participate in.
After the race, I stopped at a booth where you could spin a wheel to get whatever prize the wheel stopped on.
Of course, I wanted the big prize so I asked the attendant where the wheel had to stop to get that particular prize. He pointed to a blue-colored wedge on the wheel. Alright, so I used the visualization technique as I had practiced. In this case, as I spinned the wheel, I visualized with the knowingness that the wheel would stop at the wedge that I had pictured in my mind.
And it did!
As I jumped up and down, yelling out that I had won, the attendant told me that I had not won the big prize. I caught myself just before exhibiting behavior that I might have regretted.
Then, I calmly pointed out to him that the wheel had indeed stopped on the blue wedge that HE had pointed out was the blue wedge for the big prize.
Unfortunately, the attendant then pointed out to me that the wedge for the big prize was indeed blue but the blue wedge he had pointed out had a little black square in the far corner and my blue wedge did not have the little black square!
I'm telling you this because the visualization techniques that I talk about do work but they only work to the extent that you area able to accurately and passionately project them.
By the way, I did win something. It was a mirror...interesting.
Mental Self Defense
Protect Your Mind
So doesn't it stand to reason that there are others who may be controlling you for their personal gains?
So what can we do to protect our own minds from being manipulated by other people?
Through the years, I developed my own mental self-defense using a combination of visual techniques from of all things, martial arts along with other alternative healing methods that I had come across.
My was developed way before I found this much simpler tool.
It is easier to understand and more direct. You can find it in the section on protecting your mind from attack using verbal cues for protection.
Use Mind Control on Others
The Positive Approach
This being said, there are those who try to manipulate others with mind control without respect to the other person's wishes.
And sometimes the line can be grey when taking into consideration the other person's values and beliefs. What you think is right or wrong, may in fact, not be the case for the other person.
So, using mind control on other people can be tricky.
If you would like to heal others using mind control, the best way to do so is to work with the person that you are trying to heal.
Initially, you should talk to them and ask them permission.
Don't be discouraged if they decline. The reason may not have anything to do with you.
For instance: It may be difficult to believe but some people would rather stay in a place of pain than be relieved of it.
And, of course, there are those who do not want you to invade their mental privacy and you should respect that no matter how good you believe your intentions are.
In implementing any healing methods, including mind control, you will be more successful with a willing participant.
Visualize What You Want
Find Your Life Purpose
Thinking positively leads you to look at the best case scenario. Ask, "How could I improve on this situation?"
Looking at things this way, takes your focus off of things you can't change and puts it back on things you can change.
Visualize why you aren't happy but don't wallow in it too long, just picture it in your mind. Now, switch the picture to the situation the way you want it to be.
Imagine the best conclusion to this story in your life.
It was not too long ago that I spent so much thinking about how miserable I was that I actually became more miserable. I had to ask myself, "What do you want your life's purpose or life's journey to be?"
The answer to that question was easy. It was also a dream to own my own home but it also felt so unrealistic.
I thought, "If people own their own homes and businesses, why not me?" So I envisioned this wonderful life where I was the owner my own home and worked my own hours in my home-based business.
I sat down and listed everything I wanted down.
It didn't happen over night but slowly, yet surely, my life began to change.
There may be deep issues that you feel that you can't change in your life right now. But if you practice with little things; taking baby steps; soon it will be easier to change more difficult issues.
With practice, it can be as easy as focusing on your goals and really envisioning them coming to life.
Wii Old People Play
Wii Console games
Just the other day, I tried this game out with a few friends, all between the ages of 30 to 50 and boy, it was a lot of fun! I have not had that much exercise in a long time.
The two I's in the word Wii look like two people standing side by side. What better way to try and convince people that a game console is universally acceptable than by not only making the name sound like a gathering of people but also making the word look like people as well.
It's possible to play this game by yourself but who would want to. It's great for the mind, body and socializing as well.
Mind games such as these does help to increase brain power.
Well of Dis-Ease Parable
Using Mind Control to Escape to Good Health
You've heard the story of the two people who were stuck at the bottom of a deep water well with no way to escape but to climb out? Think of the well as the feeling of helplessness that you are feeling and how being at the bottom of the well makes you feel ill at ease or at dis-ease.
There maybe another person in the well with you, a friend, perhaps, another who is also in a state of dis-ease.
Imagine that the only way to get out of the well is to work together to escape. So you devise a plan that will help both of you but you will both have to work with each other if your plan is to be successful. The only way to do this is to support each other's back and climb out using your legs.
But you quickly find that this is impossible to master if you are not in harmony with the other person and you BOTH continue to fall back down the Well of Dis-Ease until you learn to work together.
Your success doesn't depend on the physically stronger person or the weaker person. In order to escape the Well of Dis-Ease, you both must work together.
Using mind control is very similar to this concept. It is a delicate practice, one that requires much responsibility. You are dealing with another person, another human being, people who have emotions and struggles, people who are trying to make sense of the world; just as you are.
By supporting each other's back, we can assist each other to get out of that well of Dis-Ease and by doing so, helping ourselves at the same time.
Kalei's Quest for Enlightenment
Kalei's Journey to Enlightenment
It is said that Siddhartha Gautama meditated under a Bodhi Tree and attained enlightenment. From that time forward, he was known as the Enlightened Buddha or Gautama Buddha.
Kalei hypothesized that by following the exact footsteps of SiddharthaGautama, he should be able to achieve enlightenment.
If Siddhartha Gautama sat under a Bodhi Tree, he would sit under a Bodhi Tree. So he searched high and low until he found the one Bodhi Tree in the vicinity. I doubt that even if Kalei sat under THE Bodhi Tree the technique still would not have worked.
He would sleep with a book about the Buddha and carry it around with him everywhere he went.
If you had seen the intensity in his face, two weeks into this, you would have known that somehow his meditation was not going to work. Afterall, aren't you supposed to be relaxed and stress free after doing any type of meditation?
Journey Ended in Disappointment
By all means, you can be successful in meditation the slow-mo way, like Kalei (eventually, did but not using his Buddhist Meditation Technique).
I can't say that I blame you. I, unfortunately, went a similar route as Kalei; through years of intensive study, procrastination and, let's be truthful, wasting time. I had a valid excuse, however. This Supermind Evolution System product was not invented at the time. What's your excuse?
Seriously though, if you are truly interested in meditation and want the simplest and most enjoyable way to learn it, I highly recommend checking out this product.

Lost Your Keys-It's All in Your Mind
A Remote Viewing Technique
However, it was a popular study in the United States during the 70's and 80's. Among them were the respected Stanford Research Institute and the CIA who felt that the idea was worthwhile and funded intensive research on the matter.
Here's a very basic use of remote viewing so you can decide if this technique is worth pursuing further.
For those who are chronically misplace their house keys, you may find this simple remote viewing technique to locate them. Of course, you may use this technique for any lost or misplaced items.
First, clear your mind and visualize the item that you have misplaces. Make sure that the vision is clear in your mind. Ask yourself:
How does it look? What color is it? You may even go so far as to imagine how it feels.
If your item has a smell that you recognize, although I don't suppose most of you smelled your house keys lately.
Next, Imagine taking a step back from your keys so that you can visualize what is immediately surrounding your keys. Visualize it as specifically as you can. For instance:
Is the area green because it is on the grass?
Finally, determine exactly where the keys are located and go get it. For example:
Where is this grass - at the park, in your back yard, etc.
This is just a little taste of what you can do with the remote viewing technique. For more remote viewing techniques and other ways to control your mind check out this site.
On Throwing Tantrums
Mind Control Trick
Here's a safe mind control trick you can use on your child that has been used with amazing success.
This is how it goes:
1. You must be in the back of your child throughout the entire process.
2. Slowly and, gently but firmly, cradle your child's head with the palm of your hands. Do not push down or pull up on them. Keep your hands steady but at a natural level for your child.
3. CUP your child's ears. No matter how upset you are with your screaming child, you must make sure that you convey a loving energy through your hands.
4. Your child should be facing a blank wall or at least facing something that is not moving such as the children playing outside. Gently make adjustments so that your child is facing an area where there is no movement.
5. Also, make sure that your child cannot see you through a mirror or a reflective surface. Avoid any conversation with your child throughout this process.
What you are doing with your hands is providing a feedback loop. Looping your child's screaming back into his (or her) own auditory senses and making them aware of the loud and disturbing sounds they are making. It's like using a headphone.
You don't need to tell what to do or what not to do. You'll be surprised at how fast they learn, to stop screaming, through their own feedback.
This is a kind of simplistic sensory deprivation, mind control strategy.
If you do this correctly, your child should stop the tantrum on his/her own accord. This occurs almost immediately or within a matter of a couple of minutes, at the most.
You may have to perform this for a few more tantrums but an added benefit is that this behavior will significantly lessen after just a few episodes.
Recipe for a Panic Attack
Whatever the case, the key ingredient to a successful panic attack is stress. Once you have mental, physical or emotional stress, alls you need to do is to nourish it along.
Two of the best triggers for achieving a good panic attack is stress, this you should already have; and the right intake of foods and drinks.
The recipe for panic attack success includes generous amounts of sugar that can be easily found in:
Pastries and desserts
Fruits
Caffeine and other ingredients that speed up your metabolism can be found in:
Coffee
Tea
Sodas
Energy Drinks
Store the following in your system for later when they convert and supply you with the necessary sugars:
White Breads
White Rice

The Human Brain is an Enigma
Right or Left Brain
Negative emotions such as sadness, anxiety, depression, are connected to the right side of your brain while positive emotions are said to be connected to the left side of the human brain.
The right side of the human brain takes care of visual patterns and spatial relationships. If you are a photographer, you likely have a tendency towards being more right-brained.
Language and logistics are taken care of by the left side of your head. Writers have a tendency towards being more left-brained.
These "right-brain," "left-brain" categories are generalized categories. In fact, to be successful at photography, for instance, you must understand the technical workings of your camera, not to mention, the technical skills you need in the production process.
Successful writers must balance off their left-brain language skills with right-brain creativity to produce more interesting prose.
You Cannot Believe in the Power of Positive Thinking
The Power of Attraction states that by thinking positively, positive energy will be attracted back to you. But they don't go into the fact that negative thinking is really the easiest way of getting what you want.
There are some good points made in The Secret If you went home and tried those positive thinking techniques you probably became frustrated or disappointed that your positive thinking didn't manifest immediately for you.
Negative thinking, on the other hand immediately, and almost always, manifests itself and this is because we tend to believe in our negative thoughts more than our positive thoughts. This is the secret that The Secret movie does not elaborate on but that is very important in understanding why the success rate of negative thought far surpasses that of positive thinking.
The passion or the emotional energy you put into your negative thought is oftentimes greater and more focused than the energy you put into positive thinking.
We are conditioned to think that negative action is more acceptable than positive thought and often times, we sabotage ourselves by saying that it will never work. We need to recondition this negative way of thinking to succeed in using positive thought to accurately adjust our thoughts to get what we want.
Mental Growth from Nightmares
There is one thing that social science research has learned about our minds. Our brain has a natural instinct to make sense of the world around us. In other words, your mind will create connections for you using the information it receives.
It is referred to as "Gestalt," in scientific circles. It describes the concept that the brain naturally needs to formulate a story that can logically make sense of what it sees. So, it takes the fragments of information that it has gathered and provides links between them so that you can make a cohesive story out of it.
By creating an accurate and logical story from your dream interpretation, you will form a foundation for your thought patterns. With a solid foundation in place, you will also be able to predict what will happen in your waking state and use what you've learned from your dreams to your advantage.
To illustrate this concept, I will be publishing one of my personal dreams at Mind Visualization by the end of this week that illustrates this concept. See you there.
Modification to Article
I need to make a couple of changes to on of the articles in this lens: Musashi's Mind Tricks. Any reference to "Battle at Sekigahara" should really be "Duel at Ganryu Island."
The story depicted in the article takes place on Funajima (boat island) which is later called Ganryujima or Ganryu Island.
And, although the debate still goes on at Mind Visualization; for now, I would like to refer to Sasaki Kojiro as using one, not two, swords in the fight.
For Instance, the changes are shown in bold in the example following:
It happened when Miyamoto Musashi stepped onto the shores of Ganryu Island to battle Sasaki Kojiro. As the two swordsmen faced each other, Kojiro removed his sword from its scabbard and discarded it.
Musashi's Mind Tricks
I believe that the story is not famous because of Musashi's conquest over Kojiro, but the method by which he accomplished it is so colorful. It's worth telling time and time again.
Musashi was a master manipulator. He used a number of mind control techniques to manipulate the emotions of Kojiro that lead to Musashi ultimately defeating him in battle.
Here is the part of the story that sticks in my mind. Musashi used this rather ingenious mind control trick.
It happened when Miyamoto Musashi stepped onto the shores of Sekigahara Island to battle Sasaki Kojiro. As the two swordsmen faced each other, Kojiro removed his two swords from their scabbards and discarded them.
Seeing this, Musashi gleefully took the opportunity to tell Kojiro that he had already lost since he had discarded his scabbards. Apparently, by doing so, Kojiro had shown Musashi that Kojiro did not have a place to put his swords back when the battle was over. Thus, Musashi announced to Kojiro that the great Sasaki Kojiro had already admitted defeat.
If it isn't obvious already, Musashi won. But, if he did not react emotionally to Musashi's mind control tricks, Sasaki Kojiro may have been the one who emerged victorious from the Battle at Sekigahara.
