How to use Conversation Starters to Socialize Quickly

Conversation-starters are phrases that help us initiate a communicatin quickly and easily. Many people are too shy or feel intimidated when beeing faced with a situation they are not familiar with. However starting a conversation is an essential skill that will help you being successful in your career and in romance as well.

My clients always ask me for good conversation-starters. I usually answer them that it depends on the situation and the type of talk they wish to initiate.

How to start a conversation easily

Starting a conversation for many people seems like the tough part of communication. Some conversations begin automatically. Others however seem as you must do some really hard work just to get going. If you have a good idea of great ways to start a conversation will help you avoid problems the next time you try to begin a conversation.

Don't Drill With Questions
Don't make the person you are talking to feel like they are facing the firing squad or a machine gun.
Don't be firing questions at them without giving them your own feedback and giving them the opportunity to respond.

Asking too many questions too quickly will almost always make the other person feel uncomfortable and leave them looking for a way to leave the conversation before it has really started.
