Conversations with God - Neale Donald Walsch

My name is Maurice and this is my story of discovery and enlightenment.

I was 20 Years old when I first heard the conversations with God, because they were on audio cassettes, listening to them while I was taking a trip with my sister, who in her own way was was creating her own reality by becoming a truck driver. Mind you in the area I'm from this was rarely heard of, even in the new millennium. She had been an executive secretary in Houston, TX and after moving to Alabama was having trouble finding work. So she picked truck driving and now here we are on the road, me just a passenger to keep her company, meanwhile I'm thinking I'm going to get a free tour of the country, not knowing what my eyes are really going to be opened up to, which happened to be these books by Neal Donald Walsch and also Abraham (See Abraham Lens).
Now just before this trip, oh I'd say about a year or two before I'd been struggling with my faith if you will, praying for answers to my own questions about the Universe and The Bilble, asking very plainly--Why do I feel I'm missing something? or Why don't I agree with confession and other rules laid out by the Catholic Church ( I was raised Catholic).
While on this trip my sister and I had plenty of time to talk and discuss things, and she decided to put on some of these cassettes and that jump started all of these questions I've had for so long and we began to discuss how we both were questioning the same things about the same time. Now we are together listening to these tapes with our mouths dropped in an awed expression, but with a sense of relief, because we both felt like we are finally hearing the truth that we both felt in our hearts to be correct. Its like an emotion I've never felt before so strongly. Hearing something put in such a way that sounds foreign or in exact opposite of what we were taught, yet as if we are remembering it instead of learning something new.
If was several years later, on a sad trip back from California, where I had moved there, and lets just say that things didn't go so well, that I came across another amazing but ever familiar author, Sylvia Browne. Until then I hadn't really thought of her as an author, but just as a psychic that sometimes appeared on the Montel Williams show. I definitely wasn't overly impressed by her, but for some reason felt compelled to by her 3 Book Set Journey of the Soul Series at a Barnes & Noble in Arizona on the way. Funny enough my sister happened to be with me on that trip back and when I came back to the car with the books we were both excited and intrigued at why I chose of all times to get these books and 3 of them. We were anxious to see what they were all about and tried to devour as much as we could before sun down. Nevertheless, I haven't stopped reading Sylvia Browne since that day. Those 3 books (Journey of the Soul Series) along with (Neal Donald Walsch's, Conversations with God) have enlightened and enriched what's left of my existence.
If you have burning questions like I did, then you will find either series thirst quenching and more than satisfying. I know you will find yourself deeply engaged, challenged, and at times even enlightened by what Sylvia Browne and Neal Donald Walsch present in these two incredible series.
