Welcome to Cook Free or Die lens

Cook Free or Die! This is Anthony Bourdain's slogan.

You don't know Tony?

He is a chef, bestseller author and TV celebrity.
Tony is a 28-year professional chef and currently the executive chef at New York's bistro, Les Halles.
He was born in 1956 and attended the Culinary Institute of America.

In 1999, The New Yorker published "Don't Eat Before Reading This" and attracted a lot of attention in the U.S.

In 2000, he began his search for the "perfect meal", travelling around the world as the host of the show "A Cook's Tour", trying every dish he could grab. Even a beating Cobra heart!

In 2001, "Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly", he described experiences behind the scenes in restaurant kitchens and became a huge success.

In 2004, he released "Anthony's Bourdain Les Halles Cookbook", with french cuisine recipes from Les Halles.

In 2005, he returned with his unique sense of humor on the show "No Reservations" at Travel Channel and, since then, for the joy of all the fans around the globe, we can watch his amazing and incredible adventures.
