The coolest of all cool lights has got to be the Moonstruck light objects!
The coolest of all cool lights that I've ever seen are globe lights known as the Moonstruck light object. It's a Sandra Haischberger design manufactured by Feinedinge. Moonstruck light objects are totally handcrafted. They're slip-casted and perforated from porcelain. What's so cool is that no stencils are used with the flower pattern, which makes each piece a bit different and unique.
I'm really into cool sphere lights and love how flower patterns are drawn all over walls and ceilings when the light is turned on! To me, the moonstruck light is like a three-dimensional crochet design as a sphere light.

The Moonstruck cool lights are a work of art
This is a view of the Moonstruck light object when the light is turned off.It's such a work of art that would work in a group setting to create a tabletop sculpture!
Moonstruck light objects are slip casted and perforated - each sphere is 100 % handcrafted.
No stencils are used with the flower pattern, which makes each piece a bit different and unique.
By using a clear light bulb, the floral patterns are drawn all over walls and ceilings. If this effect is undesired, simply use an opaque light bulb.

Random Light by Monkey Boys -- These are cool lights too!

These beautiful suspension lamps are constructed by coiling fiber glass drained with resin around a balloon. this may seem like a simple enough technique, but it took the monkey boys three years to fully develop the idea.

Fireball by Pernille Vea -- Another example of cool lights!
This little baby is not only hot hot hot, but it's a lighting classic that's all over the web! The designer, Pernille Vea, is quite prolific having quite a number of award-winning designs.The Fireball, which burns brightly and beautifully in the garden in both summer and winter, is part of Menu's extensive garden series. The Fireball uses ordinary tealights, and can either be placed directly on the ground - e.g. in the grass or the snow - or fitted into its accompanying rubber stand and placed along the terrace, on the garden table or by the front door.
Use the Fireballs singly, or put them together in small, twinkling clusters that will glow in the dark of winter or the bright summer night.

OMG! What a beautiful work of art.The Fil De Fer floor lamp by Catellani & Smith is designed and hand made in Italy. Fil De Fer is a remarkable floor / table lamp, because the ball formed out of aluminum wire, shines from the inside. It changes its light strength when you touch the light and is thereby a light object with high attraction.
Its bizarre appearance reminded the designer Enzo Cattelani 'of the light, rolling bushes, blown by the wind in the Mexican desert.' The dimmer is attached on cord. Manufacturer: Catellani & Smith.

I'm definitely into mood lighting, anything to help me get "in the mood," right? Well I adore these gadgety lights and love how they change colors!! Serious LOVE.These strangely shapeless thingamabobs are set to take the world of collectable kaleidoscopic critters by storm. Not that such a world currently exists, but it will soon because Mood Beams have got cult written all over them!
Basically Mood Beams are a funky tribe of supremely portable, battery-operated characters that cycle through a spectrum of hypnotic colors. They're also sensitive to sound, so if you put them next to your radio or CD player they'll change color to the beat of the music. It's like having a raving light show emanating from within an amorphous Japanese cartoon character.
I first spotted these cuties in May 2006 and have seen them at a number of online sites.

This is a variation on the Moonstruck light object.It's a big flatter so that it can be mounted on the wall. It's called the wandlichter which translates to "wall light."
