Lake Erie Artists Gallery is a Showcase of Local Artists
Okay, I admit it. I love my job! And this time I truly mean it, because I finally am doing something I completely believe in and that is promoting local Cleveland, Ohio artists to the world at large. Whether you already know it or not, Cleveland, Ohio is full of talented artists in all media. Many of them are trained in our own Cleveland Institute of Art.
My name is Paula Atwell, and I am the owner of a unique gallery--Lake Erie Artists Gallery. Lake Erie Artists Gallery is a special place. We have a brick and mortar gallery at historic Shaker Square in Cleveland. We also have a website as well as a Zazzle store.
Lake Erie Artists Gallery's mission is to promote and sell the artwork of Ohio artists. We currently have over 80 local artists' work showcased in the gallery including painting, pottery, jewelry, photography, glass, fiber art, as well as numerous books by local authors.

What is So Very Special About Lake Erie Artists Gallery?
Great Art, Local Artists, Fun, and Food
Okay, it is true that I am completely biased about Lake Erie Artists Gallery, but even if I were to take 10 steps back and come to the gallery as a new person--here is what I would see:
Lake Erie Artists Gallery has a casual, comfortable atmosphere in a central location that just exudes local history. Cleveland's Shaker Square has a rich history, and is now a cultural center with great restaurants and shops. What better location for this special gallery that promotes local Cleveland, Ohio artists, authors, and musicians.
Lake Erie Artists Gallery has wonderful prints, photographs, and posters that celebrate the life and history of Cleveland, Ohio as well as numerous books about the city and its surrounding suburbs.
Both visitors to our city and natives shop at Lake Erie Artists Gallery for children's art and craft gifts, pottery, recycled artwork, clothing, and beautiful and unique jewelry.
And best of all, it is all made right here in Cleveland, Ohio so anything you purchase is supporting the local economy and local artists. Many of the artists work part-time in the gallery, so if you walk in you may get the chance to meet them face-to-face, ask them questions about their work, and take classes from them.
Located in the back of Cleveland, Ohio is Fusion Studios a studio offering classes in glass fusing, stained glass, and other media.
If you are originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and have moved away, relive your memories by browsing our online store. Items can be shipped anywhere in the world via UPS or U.S. mail.

As You Can Imagine, Lake Erie Influences Our Lives Greatly
Resources about the Great Lake Erie
Ohio is the Heart of the Midwest
Cleveland has its own personality
I found that especially so when I visited Columbus, Ohio for a wholesale show recently. Ohioans are truly basic folks who love their football, and their homecooked food.
Clevelanders are a little bit different than the rest of Ohio. It is a more eclectic kind of city with a greater demographic mix, and more urban atmosphere.
In Cleveland, you can go from ethnic neighborhood to ethnic neighborhood, Little Italy to W. 25th street, where you will find little restaurants from Puerto Rican to Jamaican to Ukranian. We have lots of students from all over the world at our various universities as well as a world famous hospital, The Cleveland Clinic, which draws both physicians and patients from many countries.
Did you know for instance, that Cleveland, Ohio has one of the fastest growing medical industries in the U.S.? I didn't until recently. So if you are in the medical profession or looking to get into it, this is the place to come.
Our art scene here is varied, and growing. Lots of interesting pockets around the city are featuring art galleries. Tremont, Downtown, Little Italy, Ohio City, and Cleveland Heights to name a few.
Lake Erie Artists Gallery represents the artistic and historical culture of Cleveland, Ohio and its surrounding areas of Canton, Akron, and Youngstown and the smaller towns in between. I hope that you will take time to visit our Cleveland, Ohio and support our artists.

- Beautiful gallery. I am also a fan of art, although most of the art in my house was painted by my husband.
