Cooler Master HAF 932

This is a cooler master haf 932Review. Hello my high tech friends! I'm Jeremy and today I'll be writing about my cool new computer case. I hope I will be able to assist you to make a good investment or, to avoid I bad one. So let's get on with it then!

My Experience With Different Cases

Before I bought the cooler master haf 932 I had a pretty old "mainstream" computer case which I guess cost me about 30 bucks. Back then, I never realized the importance of a good case and I thought that only hardcore gamers invest their money in an expensive case to show off and to make their computer "battleship" look cool. Oh boy I was wrong. Every now and then something in my computer would burn, first, it was my CPU, then in was my graphic card, and eventually my motherboard got violated. As my hard drive was left untouched and contained a lot of important information, I went to a computer store to look for advice and the guys there told me to get myself better cooling system. They offer0ed me some cheap fans but eventually I bought the cooler master haf 932.

A Quick Overview

The cooler master haf 932 is a LOT bigger than my old case. It comes with 4 fans already mounted in. There is no fan controller but the fans have the sockets that you can add a controller, connect it directly to the power supply unit, or connect it directly to the motherboard. Above the large fan on your left sight (looking at the picture with the red fan facing you), there is a small clear window. It would have been nice if the window went all the way down. On the top of the case, there are connections for the USB, e-sata, power switch, reset, microphone, and speaker. You also have the option of adding wheels to the bottom of the case. I installed them and, they have a lock on them to prevent your case from moving (if the case is too heavy for the desk lol). The box that the cooler master haf 932 was huge! About the size of a suitcase. You get the speaker wire, the manual, a lot of screws, the IO panel, plastic ties, and a map that shows where to put the motherboard and all the wires go out of. For instance, if you have an ATX motherboard, the map says to place the motherboard screws in A,B,C,D,F.G,H (just an example). If you put the map on the motherboard tray, you will see what screw is what letter. The wire management system in this case is amazing.

Testing And Results

Overall I must say, the cooler master haf 932 keeps my system freezing. I left my cup of tea near my case and within minutes, I had ice tea. The readings on my motherboard and on the BIOS screen show the CPU temperature at 19C-21C. While playing a "heavy" game for several hours, the temperature stays exactly the same. Outstanding. Feeling the side of the case and it feels like a freezer. Great case for a great price. Yes, it could be prettier, but it does its job!

Summing It All Up

Concerning how loud the cooler master haf 932 is (which I'd say is very subjective). I would definitely consider it not a loud case at all. With 4 huge fans; it's not an issue where you would have to turn up your speaker volume. The side vents towards the front, do a nice job "emptying" the heat coming from my hard drives, and my video card does a nice job isolating the heat generated from it and pushing it out the back. I would have chosen either this case or the Thermaltake Armor Plus case. After researching for a few weeks, everyone always pointed to this one. Yes, the Armor plus is prettier (the password for today lol) but, the cooler master haf 932 does a LOT better job. A great investment.
