Pale girls rejoice, light skin is back in! This month, walking down the runway, we saw lots of natural skin with pale pink lips, light peachy blush and orange-yellow eye shadow. If you want to learn how to incorporate these trends into your day to day routine, you've come to the right place.

I gave my victim friend a makeover using Spring 2008 makeup style. Keep reading to see how it turned out!

Step 1: Moisturize, moisturize and then moisturize some more! With such a basic palette, glowing skin is the basis of any good makeover. Rub a good face cream all over and then blot anywhere it looks shiny.

Step 2: Put a dab of foundation on any area of the face where skin tones need to be evened out. I just blended in a tiny bit on my friend's t-zone.

Step 3: Apply concealer to any red marks or pimples. Also, you can use concealer for dark circles under the eyes, but make sure to dab gently, rather than rub it in. I like to use a brush instead of my finger for blending.

Step 4: Apply a little concealer to your lips. No, that's not a typo. Put just a bit of concealer on your pout. It will help lipstick stay on longer.

Step 5: Get a big blush brush and apply a peachy blush (or light pink if peach isn't your color), to the apples of the cheeks and up to your temples. Make sure to blend so it looks natural. Not trying too hard is the look we're going for here.

Step 6: Now we're to the trickiest part, but in this simple makeover, even the eyes won't be too complicated. Use a yellow-orange shadow (or I actually prefer yellow-gold if you don't think you can pull off the orange shade). Sweep the color all over the entire eyelid. Then take a shadow one shade lighter than the one you just used, and use it as a liner on your lower lid. Dab a shimmery white shadow in the inner corner of your eye. Using your pinky finger for this purpose works well. Put the shadow on your finger, close your eye and just dab a tiny bit onto the inner corner of each eye. This opens up and brightens your eyes, really drawing attention to them. One coat of mascara on upper and lower eye lashes, and the eyes are all set.

Step 7: Choose a pale, baby pink for your lips. I saw a lot of matte lipstick on the models during Fashion Week, but I think baby pink translates to the real world better in a gloss. Use whatever makes you feel comfortable and look good!
