In the 4 years that I suffered with panic attacks, I believe that I became somewhat of a "master" of coping with panic attacks. But the fact of the matter is that I did not cure myself of my panic attacks (have not had a single one for 8 months and counting) through coping techniques.
With that said, I have provided you with some of my most effective coping with panic attacks methods. But I'm also going to tell you about how I was able to cure my panic attacks as well. Just in case you want to take the jump from coping to curing :-)

1. Accept Uncertainty

I am sure that it would not be much of a stretch for you to admit that life does not follow a script. That is a fact. We will never have full control over every single thing in our lives. Rather than fight against that fact you must accept it and welcome it.
After all, fighting against uncertainty is like fighting against the force of life itself. Do you really think one can win such a battle?

2. Worry Time
Coping with Panic Attacks
Give yourself 10 minutes every day to worry uncontrollably. This is where you can get all your worries out on paper. Write them all down and the reasons why you are so stressed about them. Just as well, you can also write one or two things you can do to alleviate those worries.
Spend 10 intense minutes on this process each day. But after that 10 minutes is up...so if your worrying. At first this will be a little hard to do, but you will get used to leaving your worries behind after a few days.
