I have to admit, I didn't even know what this was. Blessed from the Squid Angel April Fools Tour Bus.

Great, tasty, lens with a classic recipe. I like that you put some history facts as well.

Coq au Vin is one of my favorite things to make. It's hard to go wrong with a wine sauce. :) And yes, I'd rather eat my own than eat it in a restaurant.

All my life I've heard "Coq au vin," but I never really knew what it was. Somehow, I thought it would be a more complex dish. Looks and sounds tasty and actually do-able for someone like me, who's not all that great in the kitchen.

I've always wanted to make this but for some reason never have. Thanks for the recipe, will give it a try soon.

I love Coq au vin, though I can see how some may be put off by the presentation. I've also made it with white wine and found it equally as delightful.

That's interesting wayfarer. I will have to try it with a white wine. Thanks for sharing

A lovely lens with my favourite topic: food and especially a casserole this time of the year. A 5 star performance and a lensroll to my casserole lens.

I must say, I've never prepared this classic dish. Your lens might push me over the edge into some new adventures with another old rooster. Perfect! 5*s and a German SquidAngel Blessing for your tough birdie. :)
