What do we do?

Each month, on our online learning platform, we provide a new programme of activities designed to stimulate and motivate very able young people. Activities include the Debating Chamber, research opportunities such as those presented by the Department of Astronomy at Oxford University, a monthly book club, the Ethics Lab, the Thinking Lab (where students create their own sub-groups such as the Eco-Club), visiting academics who engage the students in challenging discussions which extend learning significantly beyond national curricula, collaborative writing projects, creative writing etc.

There are two groups, one for 7 - 10 year olds and the other for 11 - 14 year olds.

The learning platform is accessed via the Internet and students can participate at any time, without any special equipment other than an Internet computer.

Using polls and quizzes we constantly evaluate the programme and ensure that the students are involved in its planning and development, enabling them to take ownership of the direction of much of the project.
