We are a new community of Christ followers seeking to make Christ known in the heart of the city of Troy, N.Y. and the surrounding capital region.

Jesus Christ is the core of everything we are and do. He is the essential meaning of who we are. He is the central, foundational Truth that we can build our lives upon.

The CORE Church of Troy is strategically located at the intersection of 6th Avenue and 101st St., at the crossroads of North Central Troy and Lansingburgh (also known as North Troy), in a neighborhood that is well known for its history of crime & violence, along with drugs, street gangs, high percentage of teen pregnancy, lots of children (many unsupervised), run down, boarded up buildings, etc.

Darkness has prevailed in this neighborhood for many years. But a new day has dawned. God is alive and at work in this neighborhood. God loves this neighborhood. God has sent us to let His people know that He loves them and has not forgotten them.
