Corn Hole

While visiting friends for a business meeting in Minnesota we were introduced to Cornhole. To say the least, we were addicted to this fun backyard game. I think we tossed those beanbags until dark.

Anyone can play Cornhole, old and young. Think of Cornhole as a take-off of horse shoes with out the metal. Cornhole makes a great backyard or indoor game, a fun and easy transportable game to play while tailgating, or camping.

The rules are easy. Play continues until one player reaches 21. Three points are given for a hole in one, and one point for a bag on the board. There are many different variations to Cornhole.

You can make your own Cornhole game. You don't have to be a carpenter on This Old House to build one. Build it and they will come.

There are plans below to pick from. The main thing is it's a great game for all ages.

The American Cornhole Association was established by a small group of dedicated Cornholers from the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio. It has grown over the years and, to the best of our knowledge, now represents the largest organized Cornhole / Corn Toss association in the United States.

    Love this lens! I have been playing cornhole for years in Chicago. Finally got my own board last year so I could get in more practice. Best game ever! If you get a chance, check out my Bean Bag Games blog.

    I had to laugh when I saw this. My brother has just built his own cornhole board and they have had more fun playing this game. Watching to me is more fun !
