From the lens What is Corporate Culture?.

Great suggestions! These work for big or small companies and it helps to already be in a culture that encourages the concept of "failing fast." But, how do you get to that point? I'm in the midst of trying to change the culture at my company. Just to get people to think that they can fail is a huge change in the way that people see their work. Do you have books you'd recommend that give ideas on how to go about changing? I've read many of the top "change is necessary" books, but few actually delivery steps on HOW to change like Transforming Corporate Culture, a book by Lisa Jackson and Gerry Schmidt. http://corporateculturepros.com I'm learning a lot from them. I know it's a long, slow process, but I'd welcome your suggestions.

Thanks for the thoughtful post. I concur, it's imperative to build a culture that knows how to work together and then actually works together to make change happen. I've been reading a lot of change management books lately, and it seems there's a lot of theory, but not a lot of practical talk about implementation of that change into the organization. I just finished Transforming Corporate Culture by Lisa Jackson and Gerry Schmidt that delves deep into the ?how? of change management in organizations. Worth a look if you're in the midst of changing your company's culture. http://corporateculturepros.com
