Places to Stay in Cortona, Tuscany, Italy

Hotel San Luca just outside the town-wall, overlooking the lake in Umbria. This is quite a basic hotel, but with excellent views.

There is free parking on the way up the hill so it is easiest to dump the car and walk to the entrance of the walled town.

I love medieval history, which there is none of in the USA. I look longingly at photos of places like this.

I LOVE Tuscany, and we visited Cortona one day while we were there. Did you know they filmed some of the movie there "Under a Tuscan Sun"? You make me want to go again Andy :)
