I would definitely recommend this site as there are almost no restrictions for use although you should read the terms of use on the site.
It would seem that the site makes it's money through advertising so help out where you can by visiting some of the sites advertising there but only if you are interested in them. This will probably ensure images are regularly added.

The next site that I am going to recommend offers some great cost free photographs that can be used for personal and commercial use. No link back is required but appreciated. The thing I really like about this site is that you can search photographs by color. How cool is this !The site began in 2001, so it must be doing something right. The site is created and run by designers.
Another neat idea on this site is that they provide contributors with their own 'free' online photo portfolio. As well as an optional personal photo, bio and links. You can use this self-contained portfolio website for business or personal use

Fontplay is a very basic looking website but don't fooled by looks. Inside there are many many photographs that you can use commercially, and without link back to their site. Downloading is very simple and there is no need to register.
