What is Costume and Fashion Jewellery?
The terms costume and fashion jewellery generally mean that it is jewellery made from non-precious materials. So instead of solid gold it would be made from base metal with gold plating. Some people will argue with this and say that it just refers to the fact that it is fashionable.

I think if I were to classify this brand, I would say this was fashionable jewellery rather than costume jewellery. This is because they use solid sterling silver rather than plating base metal.The company was started by Ashley Sinclair Marshall when he visited Guatamala. After travelling back and forth between Guatamala and London, Azuni launched it's first collection in 1995.
