Marion Cotillard (born 30 September, 1975) is an Academy Award winning French actress, who, in 2008, earned international recognition when she won the Best Actress Oscar for her role as Edith Piaf, in the movie "La Vie En Rose".

5. Cotillard is a Greenpeace spokeswoman and was among the artists involved in "Dessins pour le climat," an album project that was released in 2005 and raised money for the environmental activist group.

Marion Cotillard (born September 30, 1975) is a French actress. For her performance as Édith Piaf in La Vie en Rose (2007), she received an Academy Award for Best Actress and a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role—in both cases it was the first time that an actress had won those awards for a French language performance. Her performance was also recognized with a César Award for Best Actress, and a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.
