Couples Halloween Costumes

One of the most prolific lines of couples Halloween costumes have been borne out of the American animated television show, The Flintstones. It aired from 1960 to 1966 and showed suburban life from the prehistoric age. Two of the main characters were Fred and Wilma Flintstone, a married couple from the town of Bedrock. Fred and Wilma remains a favorite among couples Halloween costumes. Their clothing was fashioned out of various animal skins and they wore no shoes. Animal prints cut raggedly are a fun and easy way for couples to role play at Halloween; a bone can be added to Wilma's hair instead of a barrette. Other couples Halloween costumes based on the Flintstones include Barney and Betty Rubble (Fred and Wilma's neighbors).
